Native Americans in the old west movies would refer to that as speaking with a forked tongue.

I support Trump, because the Dems have become the extremists.  It's no longer the party of Kennedy, or even Bill Clinton.  Hillary Clinton, for sure...

Screwed view, Republicans have always been the extremists, what excuse do they have?

They didn't stop being extreme when Donald suddenly choosed to change from dems to Rep, or what?

It is interesting view at least you have.

That's nice. I am not a Billie fan but she has 32 million followers on Facebook -- not that that should make a difference, but it does.

Are the Repubs trying to dictate what car I can own, how to wash my dishes, who I need to hire and promote and on and on...?

Perfect example, the current mob is suing Elon for not hiring immigrants at Space-X, while at the same time, they're threatening to fine him if he hires non citizens because of national security.

They're suing Sheetz (Gas stations) for doing criminal background checks on the people they hire to interact with the public in the middle of the night.  They claim that's racist...  I like the idea that my loved one won't be interacting with a felon in the middle of the night.

The little I know of pop culture I think Billie is much more 'cool' than Taylor and her audience would be very likely skewed towards Kamala. Trump and the whole Republican agenda is the anathema of what she is about. But if she can get them to enrol and vote - when they might not be bothered otherwise - that's cool.

I just going to answer with one question. Do we need 8L cars just for fun or the feeling of it, and then crying when the fuel prices going up?

But I have to admit, the middle ground looks better than bot the lunatics on each sides. But stupid people need obviously radical things to get a grip on their own existence. Strange people, but remember, we used to stone people, burn people, chain people in the name of God. Can you believe it?

And I'm sure she's 99.99% insulated from the effects of higher food prices, immigrants taking her job, and crime outside of her security perimeter.

So Billie's voting for Harris and you're voting for Trump so you cancel out each other.

They are all stark raving mad over there.

350 million people to chose from and it is down to a choice behind a woman and elderly lying sex pest.

Harris seems to be getting most of her support, not because she is good, but only because people hate the other idiot more.

Not because of her plan for the future.

Trump is the laughing stock of the world.

If Joe Biden decided not to be the Democratic 2024 Presidential candidate on January 1, 2024 instead of July 21, 2024, I would expect Ms. Haris to have more of a plan and detailed agenda.

But he didn't.

Just have to add, if Trump wins, there is a problem with role characters in the state. Somewhere at some time, it went horrible wrong.

Posts using derogatory and toxic nicknames or intentional misspelling of people’s names will be removed. If you don’t want your post to be removed, spell people’s names correctly, this applies to both sides of the political debate.

I strongly agree, Billie Eilish's persona is seriously cooler than Swift and a lot of fun. Some of the music is the best we get these days. However, while she is about transgender bisexuality with blue hair and an extreme abortion agenda and her politics are absolutely abhorrent, this need not deter us in any way from enjoying her original and sometimes sublime music.

Clearly she has no real life experience, having grown up in a Hollywood bubble since birth, but she's an artist, not a political  savant.  As an artist she is above average, as a political animal she's a lost feminist transgender puppy in the wilderness howling at the abortion moon.

I don't feel like laughing that about 70,000,000 Americans want that guy as their next president.

And there is a 50/50 chance he will win.

It would be bad enough if people in some banana republic would vote for such an idiot. But the most powerful nation on the earth with that guy in charge. It would be unbelievable if it wouldn't be so real.

He had his chance.

completely stuffed everything up so bad that people voted for old Joe.

But the voting age LGBTQ population in the swing states esp. Nevada and Arizona could actually make a difference.

What scares me is that some posters on here that I think are normally well balanced intelligent people lose their mind when it comes to Trump, and actually think Harris is a better option. I'd prefer someone less controversial than Trump, but the idea of Harris as POTUS terrifies me.

Harris is a closed book, and there is no knowing what creepy things she's hiding from public view.

Trump, on the other hand is too open, to his own detriment.

Perhaps you should be asking why 70 odd million Americans prefer him to her, instead of getting tied up in his imperfections.

Are there really that many of them? I find it hard to believe that there really are many of them out there, though they make enough noise to think there are more of them than the reality.

I could say that about Harris.

Let's face it, something is rotten in US politics that either could be POTUS next January.

However, when Biden's handlers were able to fool the public that Biden was actually in charge for 3 1/2 years nothing surprises me about the disaster zone of US politics.

'Harris is a closed book, and there is no knowing what creepy things she's hiding from public view.'

I'm willing to bet my house that 'the book of Harris' contains not 10% of the utter filth Donald's book contains - and that's just the parts we know about.

"Controversial' my butt. He's a convicted criminal and a sex fiend for Pete's sake. What more do you need to know!?!?!?!

Is there something in the water in district of Columbia?

Seems that they really are different in the US. In NZ if someone is of the alphabet soup variety they generally keep it very quiet, and as for parades, perhaps in Auckland but locally, not a chance.

Anyway, it's a non political issue so no mention of it in elections, that I heard.

That's not to say there are none, far from it, but they don't thrust it in everyone's face.

I don't need to know any more about Trump than he is in with a 50-50 chance or returning to the W H next year. Does that scare you?

He's a convicted criminal and a sex fiend for Pete's sake.

You seem to be a bit naive about things sexual if you think Trump is a sex fiend.

He's no more a sex fiend than the hundreds of thousands of farangs that flock to Thailand every year.

If he was really a convicted criminal other than in your imagination, he'd be in jail.

When swing state elections can be decided by 1% of the vote those numbers -- including Wisconsin, Michigan, and Pennsylvania in the 7-8% range -- can be decisive.

So gays, lesbians, transgender, queer, swfities and Eilish fans will decide the US election?

If enough men turn out to vote for Trump, let's say he develops a 13% lead among men, the way Harris has among women, that would make up for the small number of LGBTQ votes.

But we have too many traitors in our rank. Why any man would vote for Harris, when her only distinguinshing policy is reproductive rigths, ie abortion extremism, is a mystifying mystery. I guess some hate Trump so for some reason.

Considering that Trump has been living in the media spotlight for decades, I find it hard to believe there is anything we don't know about when it comes to anything to do with him. If there was anything really bad it would have been all over the media.
