The Republican Freak Show

Featured Replies

  • Popular Post

When I became old enough to vote I voted Republican in 3 straight presidential elections. In those days there was such a thing as a moderate Republican. Now the GOP would be unrecognizable to Ronald Reagan. Hopefully the GOP can return to some form of normalcy when the Trump era finally ends.

"The Trump movement is built on layers of lies. It’s late, but it’s never too late to liberate yourself from them. One word of truth outweighs the world."

  • If Trump loses this year, there's no way the GOP will nominate him again in 2028.  He'll be too old anyhow.  Heck, he's too old now.

  • You drank a little too much kool aid.   And the Democratic Party is the same as when Kennedy was President?

  • They are all stark raving mad. Looks like Harris will get up this election but Trump will be back for 2028.

False equivalency.  The author in the Atlantic article provided many, MANY examples of weirdos running the Republican party.  Perhaps you can do the same regarding the Dems.

False equivalency??? I don’t think so.

All of them.

His supporters are not going anywhere.
He will win nomination again. They love him. It is like a cult.

Not like a cult, it is the textbook definition of a cult:

"A misplaced or excessive admiration for a particular person or thing considered to be false, unorthodox, or extremist, with members often living outside of conventional society under the direction of a charismatic leader."

Freak show.  <laughs>  You boy is as sharp as a tack.  Too bad he's not running for another term.

Our boy had the good sense to bow out gracefully.  Too bad "you [sic] boy" doesn't have the sense to do the same.

I can find many videos of Trump going full senile if you'd like.  In fact, here's one.  And Trump is still running to be POTUS, Biden is not.

Kicked out. More grudgingly than gracefully. How're he and Nancy getting along these days? LOL.

What is STARK RAVING MAD is the Youtube video just two posts above this one. YOU watch it then try and defend that lunatic! Afterwards, ask yourself HONESTLY if that's the kind of person you REALLY want sitting in the oval office with access to the nuclear codes.

He didn't have to go, he could very well have stayed. It was his choice to bow out gracefully. Your raving lunatic should do the same - fuel up his jet and relocate to a country that doesn't have an extradition treaty with the US.

Legally, unless removed by invocation of the 25th, with which, according to some accounts, he was threatened. But, practically speaking, after the debate, he had to go, and so the Party, or rather the donors to whom they're beholden, forced him out. Simple as that. Sorry to blow the delusion; it seems important to you.

No, it's important to you to deflect on the real topic which is fitness for office. Forced out or volunteered - who cares? He's out. Now your lunatic should do the same. He's obviously nuts and going more over the edge each and every day. Again, watch that YouTube video just a few posts above then do some soul searching as to whether or not you can honestly support such a madman.

Over Harris, yes indeed. Leftist gaffe videos, with accompanying spin, can easily be overmatched by Kamala's average videos.

Trump's obligated to follow the Republican Party platform, which he helped write: 2024 Republican Party Platform and he'll have a staff help him do so, just as Biden and Kamala have their staff running the entire gov't in their steads. Nor can the Prez, solo, press any nuke buttons--contrary to the usual hysterical trope. But hopefully Iran will think so. Funny how Iran and domestic leftists dovetail in their agendas.

Relax, sit back, smell the coffee.

Not exactly. The Dems draw the line at nominating a convicted sexual abuser who tried to stay in power by calling his MAGA mob to the capitol to disrupt the peaceful transfer of power.

Ah....

So, you are saying that those of the Democratic Party are not sexual abusers.

I see.

Maybe you don't know but Pizzagate was a fake conspiracy.

If you are referring to the Pepperoni Pizzagate affair, then I am vaguely familiar with it.

But, what pizza might have to do with sexual abuse is what I am unclear about.

Check out the recent SNL skit on the subject.  I'd post a link, but they're blocked where I am.

If his health holds up and he is not jailed they can’t get rid of him. Same as Herpes

You know, the GOP tried to cater to the media and the Democrats by selecting more and more normal candidates for President. John McCain? War hero and moderate. Slammed by the media as too old, libeled about having an out of wedlock child.  Mitt Romney? Morally unimpeachable, family man, successful in business, great teeth. Slammed and ridiculed as well.

So, what is a party to do? Throw a huge middle finger at the establishment in Washington and choose Trump. Unashamedly rich, brash, a BS artist of some renown. Take that, Beltway lizards! And surprisingly effective as President.  So why not try the same again...

He's already been asked the question and said he'd not run in 2028. But we hate to give up the idea and love sitting in the same old bathwater.

You need to cut back on the kool aid if you think Kamala is the answer, our country is in a world of hurt if she gets elected.
