Enough of the pearl clutching and using a tragedy to try and make a cheap point.

My post was saying they are not STILL dying.

How do you know. Flying a rescue chopper?

James Connor having read the testimony makes the point why this dangerous deranged maniac Trump must never be allowed near power again and must be jailed at his upcoming sentencing (for the sake of us all)

and James Connor is who exactly? is he a lawyer, prosecutor, barrister, solicitor or any other court professional?

brave of you to post a link where Biden is clearly shown as a decrepit, he is after all STILL the POTUS, however you wouldn't think so as the entire MSM have dropped him at the behest of Pelosi, Shumer and their donors.

the rest i call BS, just another fictional article claiming Trumps said something but offering no proof whatsoever. but you guys just lap up everything you're spoon fed.

i do not believe that Biden got 80+ million genuine votes, for the election to be remotely secure every vote should require ID verification, same as every other country on the planet.

Really? Where's the proof all those dead people and illegals voted? It's been 4 years....wake up to the lie. It would have been the biggest conspiracy ever uncovered to steal the presidential election (think how many people it would have involved in organizing such a conspiracy...and they are all still keeping it secret). How many Pulitzer prizes would have been awarded for that? Except for the Pillow man nobody is fool enough to waste their money looking because it ain't there.

Illegals voting doesn't pass the sniff test. Why would an illegal risk a felony and getting deported for his ONE vote! Use some logic.

And if you are so adamant on wanting voter ID why aren't you advocating for a state issued or a national voter ID card that is free of charge to every citizen over 18? Of course you think everyone already has an ID, right? Wrong. Of course rich people think everyone drives a car and they don't see the people queued up to ride the bus every day. Do you think people that ride the bus have a car in the garage they aren't using? Many poor people don't have a driver's license they can carry in their wallet. So if you really want voter ID make it a separate voter ID card mandatory and available for free to everyone. Of course, the reason states don't do this is because they realize illegals voting is practically non-existent and therefore a separate ID to vote would just be a waste of money. And Republicans hate to waste money, right?

I'm watching a bunch of on-the ground interviews, and it is heartbreaking how the gub'ment is letting these American down.   According to people on the ground, the military assets are waiting on orders and most of them haven't even seen a FEMA rep.  Volunteers are coming in from across the country with trucks and bulldozers and finding hotels completely booked by the Feds, but also mostly vacant.

Authorities are turning away trucks, banning civilian helicopters, and confiscating goods meant for relief because of FEMA's Preferred Vendors List. FEMA tries to operate from that list. Getting on the vendor list is quite lucrative of course and subject to all the usual DEI and set asides afflicting other federal agencies. There is a lot of money to be had by keeping to the vendor list. That's why volunteers need to go around the government in order to save their fellow citizens.

As distasteful as I find it, every once in awhile, I click on CNN.com to see if my right wing sources are holding anything back on a controversial story.  This time, it was a real eye opener, with CNN burying any mention of the NC tragedy several pages deep.

Seems only fair that the lefties should plug their nose and occasionally click on Fox news the same way... If only to prove how bad Fox is.

Fox has interviews with people on the ground.  CNN?  Nope.  Fox has interviews with the Cajun Navy rescue group.  CNN?  Nope.  Fox has interviews with Florida Guard members who flew helicopter rescue missions, compliments of DeSantis.  CNN?  Nope.    The retired NASCAR deplorable who brought 500 Startlink systems donated by Musk?  Nope.  Just Fox.

Clicking to CNN gave me a whole 'nother level of appreciation why lefties think the Helene NC tragedy is trivial, and it's over.  If all I watched was CNN, that's what I'd believe, too.

I'd suggest anyone wanting to know what's really happening, from people on location, stay away form CNN and go to YouTube, or hold your nose and click on Fox.  Wait for a few hours until the sunrise on the East Coast and get fresh updates.  Live, on the ground.

https://www.foxnews.com/video

If history repeats, in about 4 years, Zuck will admit the Biden administration pressured Facebook to squelch bad news from Helene.  And the honest MSM reporting will start up after the election.

Meanwhile, here's the flood that CNN covered more thoroughly, while hundreds of Americans are dying in Appalachia.  Front page on their Int'l site, which had no mention of Helene.

Why misrepresent. The CNN coverage is extensive.

Don't blame CNN because you chose not to visit the local news (US News) or Weather pages where the stories are prominently covered.

You like FOX and dislike CNN. We all get it. Why not just write that instead of manufacturing a dishonest accusation?

The fact that Mayorkas wasn’t asked to resign as Secretary of *Homeland Security* after allowing ~15 million illegal immigrants to literally walk into the country, proves that they did it on purpose.

Not only was he not fired, he was defended.

Maybe they should get their talking points straight:

The Federal Emergency Management Agency can meet immediate needs but does not have enough funding to make it through the hurricane season, Homeland Security Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas told reporters Wednesday.

Opportunity Mismanaging !

Migrants humanitarian efforts or American Citizens Humanitarian efforts.Shouldn’t be difficult to persuade low information swing states voters, who generally vote using their pocket books in these two hard hit states!

Americans Swing Voters in Swing states like North Carolina & Georgia , will have to figure out who’s better at handling a crisis, especially in the middle of Hurricane season .

Feds say there’s no money left to respond to Hurricanes- after FEMA spent 1. 4 B on Migrants.

“We are expecting another hurricane, we don’t have the funds”.

Mayorkas: can’t use those resources!

Gov.Abbot: stop spending money for illegal migrant resettlement.

I think Joe Biden is going to die of old age before he can be put in jail, but Kamala Harris Ali Mayorkas should be jailed for life for spending FEMA money on illegal aliens and not Americans!

The Harsh consequences of not voting for them is a better choice imop

I suspect the A team to drill down hard

on this , No money left for Fema .Low Information voters don’t dig into the weeds to see where the money is , they just see big tax revenues money is going towards migrants.

biden said he might ask Congress to come back in session.

However, such an ask might prove complicated, as House Speaker Mike Johnson said there isn’t a need for lawmakers to return early.

“Congress has previously provided the funds [FEMA] needs to respond, so we will make sure that those resources are appropriately allocated,” Johnson said a day after Biden’s remarks.

NO ... did sign up for the draft, mid 1975 :cheesy:

Although one year later (1976), I did enlist in the US Army.

Even though I was 18 at the end of 1972.  I would not have gone to Nam if drafted,   Canada sounds better, since Nam has nothing to do with defending USA.   My brother, 1.5 yrs older, got a low number in the lottery, so he enlisted in the Air Force, and spent all 4 years in the UK.

Thanks for your service.
