A Thai national has died and another is suffering from severe psychological trauma as a result of an anti-tank missile attack on a Kibbutz near Israel’s border with Lebanon.

The Kibbutz Yir’on is in one of the closed military zones in Israel.

The Thai Embassy in Israel has instructed Thai citizens in closed military zones or other dangerous areas to contact the embassy if they need assistance to evacuate.

Personal choices, stay or go... that was a wrong choice.

What is a closed military zone?
Sounds like non-military people should not be there.

Yeah.  I wonder if these people believed they had a choice.  Look after their families.  Or not.  I guess they definitely are not now.  Maybe also the karma thing took charge.  Still sad for their families and friends.  And it's all so avoidable too.

Not willing to die for money but Israel pays more than Thailand.

If only "a government"  could raise up the lives of Thais they wouldn't go to Israel

Human shield.

More like some dude trying to make a living when he was killed by some home made or Iranian missile fired into Israel for probably no military reason whatsoever by terrorists and baby rapers who intentionally target women and children because they cant win a peer to peer fight.

I cant wait till Iran as a rogue murderous terrorist hate ridden state comes toppling down in a few weeks.

Would all foreigners leave Thailand if Myanmar began bombing Thailand ?

Thailand is a much larger country. There's parts were you could be safe from any bombings. That's clearly not the case in Israel.

Did you say the same about the foreigners working in Gaza who got killed ?

No, I didn't, because this article is about a Thai whi got killed in Israel, but very OBVIOUSLY it applies to every war zone in the world! Nice try, though!

So your answer would have been *Yes*, you did question why the aid workers who were killed in Gaza what were doing in Gaza when there was a war going on .  and you couldn't understand why they would go there

YES. Hell more!

I know few occupations in Erez Israel that pay up to $3K/month. Almost 100.000 thb.

How about that little inconvenience of missiles and some fireworks in the sky?
