Oh please. How would you know which ambulance is carrying a victim 15 minutes away from the pearly gates? You are just making juvenile excuses for bad behavior.

I think a child could work out if an ambulance is in a hurry or not since you mention a juvenile.

No emergency no lights boy

Thai law also prohibits a car from blocking.

Of course and rightly so.

But with an ambulance driving at normal speed and in no emergency are not meant to have there emergency lights on

You see it all the time

What was the patiants family doing following the ambulance , that sounds dubious

Usually there is not a lot of room in an ambulance for family, so to me it seems perfectly normal for the family to follow behind in a car - nothing dubious at all.

Or are you the type who would wave his wife off in the ambulance and say - "See you tomorrow, dear" and carry on as if nothing had happened?

Some inflammatory bickering posts and replies have been removed.  Please note the following:

  • The driver stated, “We were driving from Khon Kaen towards Chonburi for medical treatment

If an ambulance is carrying a patient to a hospital for medical treatment, and with the blue lights on would be to make others aware that the ambulance is trying to drive as smoothly as possible to provide a stable platform for those in the back.  For motorists to disrupt the ambulance in this manner is uncivil and unacceptable.
