Bangkok Governor Supports Congestion Charge to Curb Traffic
The difference is that London and Singapore have people with an IQ above 60 managing the roads. Thailand is a country that can't even stop motorcycles from riding wherever they want to or keep food stall away from blocking pavements. They will never be able to introduce the level of technology needed to enforce a congestion charge. -

Drunk Porsche Driver Offers B200,000 Settlement, Victim’s Father Questions Charges
First of all there's no reason to call out the victims by name, and not call out the perpetrator by name. That is just blatantly unfair and ridiculous. Second this guy should be paying 10 times the amount of money that he's offering and he should be facing some jail time, confiscation of his car and significant penalties and punishment. However, he appears to be wealthy so we know that he's more or less above the law, and the police have become partners in the perpetration of the crime. Just another blight on the shameful RTP. -

Its too expensive I may leave
With respect, people with money don't tend to care much about the price of a beer or a meal in a restaurant when they're on holiday. Anyone in touch with reality knows this. The very fact that you itemize everything from the cost of coffees to mototaxis suggests that you're something of a penny-pincher or as the Thais would say, a "cheap charlie". Nothing wrong with that but assuming that your way of thinking is common is the true naivety here. -

I Love Donald Trump
TroubleandGrumpy, Come over to my condominium building in Thailand and talk with my Russian neighbour: He said: Putin is mafia, a thief, a murderer, a short man who wants to be a macho. Oh, and you know that about 1 million Russian people fled Russia, because of your 'popular' Putin? Broaden your horizon and get info from more sources. -

Pattaya police detain foreign beggars to restore public peace
Pattaya police detain foreign beggars to restore public peace Pattaya police detained foreign beggars in a bid to restore public peace after reports of harassment. The operation, led by Police Colonel Nawin Thirawit and Police Lieutenant Colonel Piyapong Ensan, followed complaints from an Arab restaurant owner about tourists being harassed by beggars. Two foreign individuals, found without identification documents, were arrested after being caught on CCTV footage linked to incidents reported on October 18. Although their behaviour wasn't mafia-like, it caused discomfort among locals and tourists. The suspects face charges of illegal entry and public nuisance, with plans for deportation. -

Bank of Thailand Interest Rate Cut Offers Boost to Tourism Sector
In economic theory, Central Bank Interest Cut usually has an effect to weaken the currency of the respective country. Even though it doesn't always work that way. Other factors like Current Account Balance(if the country is in black or red) and Foreign Exchange Reserve(currently pretty high in Thailand) can reduce the impact of the lower interest rate. -

Yahya Sinwar’s Gambit: A Failed Attempt to Reshape the Middle East
In my opinion, Sinwar's actions were deeply rooted in the broader context of Palestinian resistance, not solely in a desire to provoke a regional conflict aimed at Israel's destruction. His actions reflected the frustrations and aspirations of many Palestinians who seek self-determination and an end to occupation. Characterizing Sinwar's actions solely as cowardice overlooks the complex realities faced by leaders in conflict zones, where decisions are often influenced by the dire circumstances of their communities. -
