Which company?

One of the top 3 that sort of rhymes with vagina

Can't think of any going by that description, what's the big secret?

When you live in a country that discourages free speech where even airlines sue passengers for posting opinions on Facebook, one learns to not directly name and shame the offending parties specifically if one has half a brain.

Posting nothing more than that a specific insurer denied a car insurance claim is no big deal and will not get you sued, even if one "does have half a brain" or thinks that the insurer's name rhymes with 'vagina', something that none of them do .   Viriyah denied a claim of mine once.

The information I asked him for can also be posted on the forum for all members to read; a claim that a specific insurer once denied a claim is not defamation, insurers deny claims all the time, it is not big secret.

Street dog scratched my door with his claws. 1st class insurance didn't give AF.

TiT

I had damage from a dog scratching my car (insurer actually said that's what happened), insurance covered it fully (Viriyah Insurance). I think it comes down to the insurer/policy.

their terminology is that there are 'fresh claims' and 'dry claims'

fresh claims are claims are accidents that has other party and you call their agent to make a claim on the scene

dry claims are claims with no party like scratches agaisnt walls, posts or where the other party can't be found - this is usually covered only in 1st class

now it depends on how much does the + in your 2+ for second class plus includes, usually loss, fire and theft plus maybe extra injuries cover for you too - but stil require other party for damages

for dry claim often there are excess payable or a 'fee' for the agent ot be creative in writing up the claim to include pre-existing damage, say you are on the threshold of your last year that the insurance company will cover your old 10+ years old car under 1st class, after which they'll kick you down to 2nd class, you might ask the agent to come over to submit a dry claim to get a once-over new lick of paint for your delapidated old car, for a 'fee' as you actually haven't had an accident per se
