If Trump is re-elected what does it say about the I.Q of the average American?
Don't expect anything that a MAGAt says to make sense. Just listen to their cult leader babble on. -

Musk Has Donated Approximately $75 million to Pro Trump PAC in just 3 months
Another $325 mil, and he'll match Zuck's contribution to getting Biden selected. I think his support, and the intelligence he can provide in the background is worth a lot more than the cash. Though, cash is nice. -

If Trump is re-elected what does it say about the I.Q of the average American?
Mountains and molehills. It is a simple choice, do you want illegal immigration or not? There is no middle ground. -

Death of Yahya Sinwar Delivers Major Blow to Hamas
Maybe the other militants will learn from this. The man knew his time was up. He chose to engage with the IDF ,firing at the engineers clearing the tunnels and he gave his position away. This clearly vindicates the Israel strategy of staying the course and going through the tunnels, searching and destroying them. Had Israel caved to the pressure, Hamas would have regrouped in the North and continued its war with Israel. Now it is up to the Hamas leadership secure in their Qatari luxury villas, to decide if they will continue the war or not. They can end it immediately with the release of the hostages. If not, the war continues. -

That doesn't make them smart. They could have voted for a better GOP candidate in the primaries.- 1

Expats in Thailand urged not to worry about negative income tax
Well, in order to spend, they need to tax people more first. It's the Progressive Liberal thing to do, rob Peter to pay Paul. -

U.S. B-2 Stealth Bombers Target Houthi Bunkers in Yemen, a Message to Iran
USA and Israel have been at war my entire life, only President that didn't start a war was Trump, although i can see it will happen now backing up Israel, i don't dislike Israeli's as such, even though they do have a bad name in most places, just that warmongering arsehat in office.- 1

Pink I.D Card & Yellow Book
Indeed, he sends a wrong message to those looking for facts because he is too lazy to acquire something that does help......🤔 In all my years of living here, I only got a residence letter once, that was before my yellow book..... -

EV Charging Stations (CS)
Yes, location plus many Dealerships and Bangchak pumps only giving free electrons at off peak times has made availability competitive. I have few options, 1 BYD 21 km away and 1 Bangchak 30 km away, plus an off peak Bangchak 9 km away. The Bangchak 30 km away is my best option as monitoring the app found it to be least frequented, plus it is new and has good facilities. Currently at 68% SOC with an impending 450 km tomorrow early morning round trip ( going to pick up the mil to spend a week with us ……… just shoot me now !! ) i knew that i would have to charge on the way back if not closer to 100% and not wanting to subject the old gal to a further hour sitting in the car i chose to charge today ( hope this is appreciated in her will !! ). So, could nip over the highway tonight to the pump or drive to the pump now ( 30 km ) and have a spot of lunch. Chose the latter and am currently charging on my lonesome ( hee hee hee 😈). So, not ideal, but will suffice. and yes am going for 100%- 1

Thai gov. to tax (remitted) income from abroad for tax residents starting 2024 - Part II
Agree - however, the 'professional' advisers here in Thailand are still in the dark too. Until TRD releases their '2024 tax guide' and details of how to lodge a tax return, then it is all speculation. It would be foolish to think that any advice regarding DTAs given in Thailand is absolutely correct. Unless tested in a Tax Court, all interpretations are not definitive (including TRD) and under this system here, it is known that both TRD and Another Party will seek a Court's advice on an interpretation, rather than TRD deciding, the Party appealing, and the matter going on and on. If things do go pear-shaped, I would also seek advice from professionals in the home country regarding that DTA - it is a Inter-country Agreement - it is not 'owned' by Thailand. Therefore, what certain Clauses and Words may mean, is not at the sole discretion of TRD. If tax officials from the other Country believe it means A but TRD states it means B - then they have to sort that out (not us). -

The reason they are turning to the right wing parties is because the liberals are IMO loony tunes when it comes to illegal immigration. That's what happens when people don't have a sensible alternative. Doesn't matter whether they do so reluctantly or not. -

Death of Yahya Sinwar Delivers Major Blow to Hamas
Pleased as I am that they took the guy out, let's see if the guy replacing him is even worse... I certainly hope not, but I can't imagine that a reasonable person would be able to crawl to the top of that heap.
