Have to disagree. Once separation is agreed upon, they’re no longer a couple. The marriage thing becomes the paperwork stuff that can be sorted out later. On a personal level, you’re free to shag or be shagged.

I expect he means 'in the eye of the law' and your personal take on it is not important.

Crikey, 21-year-old has a wife and an ex wife, soon to be 2 ex wives 😂

Sounds like a few AN members here, many Thai marriages.

I've only been married once, that was enough for me.

I do have several spouses that I still support. I can't seem to shake them, probably my fault, I keep giving them money.

Only married once but several spouses?

Most Thai women have multiple men on the go.

Second most promiscuous women on the planet.

Which is why most of us are here and why this forum exists.

God bless them.

1. Assumption  2. Assumption  3. Assumption  Without personally knowing anyone, you can't assume their lifestyle. Where is the survey for the second? I'm thinking most of us are here because we can find a younger pretty woman than we could back home, and a cheaper lifestyle. Most men do not want a promiscuous women, as that leads to them doing the same to you. And God doesn't bless immorality.

Geez, we’ve moved on from biblical times. There maybe legal obligations but as far as personal matters are concerned all bets are off. Whether you like it or not it is what it is and nothing can be done about it. Once separated, you’re not cheating.

Separated means still married. Legal aside, if you are with another while you're still married, you're cheating. Best to finish one chapter before starting another, for many reasons. A divorce anywhere, including here, isn't that hard to get, as long s both want out. If he wanted to stay together, that would require a court judgement to divorce, with one of the Thai reasons for granting it. I'm thinking she was already involved with this man for awhile, maybe because her husband thought working away from her in Bangkok and only seeing her for a day a week was enough to maintain the marriage. It's not. Not a reason to cheat but to divorce.

The man explained that he and his wife were married for about a year but they were living separately because his work was based in Bangkok.

yeah, don't invest emotionally in the relationship, be an absent husband, and then be surprised when the woman steps out and cheats and the marriage fails.

and get lawyers to clean up your mess.

Things aren't working out so just move on, do you understand any of that? Or is that too complicated a concept for you?

He is. But because she is a slut, it will now not be amicable.

He is not stabbing her or anything for cheating.

Which are the 1st?  Have passport; will travel.

Not sure. But I always thought our girls back in the UK were very easy after a few drinks and the various drugs they love so much.

But I wouldn’t waste your time going there.
Thai women are promiscuous, petite and submissive.

Girls back home are somewhat beefy and often called Karen.

So you like to get girls drunk so you can take advantage of their "easiness"? Again, I think you're assuming that Thai girls are promiscuous. Promiscuity is everywhere, and it comes from having an absent or abusive dad growing up. For the boys, being a predator of women is taught much the same way. A woman will be submissive to a good man who respects her as a person and understands what listening means. Any man can take advantage of teen and young girls because of their naivete and penchant for falling for BS. I haven't yet been to the UK but I'm told there are many slim beautiful women there. The same assumptions are told about women in the US, where I lived for 62 years. I saw slim, pretty women daily and most weren't "Karens". Beefy women, and men, abound in every corner of the world.

Yeah.

Correct. World famous for spreading the love actually. Happy endings, bj bars, basically anyone can get one.

Yeah, it is good how that worked out.

No, they are terrible. Very high obesity rates. Big butts seems to be a trend over there. It’s disgusting.

Yes!  They are required not to commit adultery if they are still married, doesn't matter what stage the "paperwork" is at or what the status of the relationship is, they're still married until the divorce is final.

It doesn't matter what they've done. They were about to sign an administrative divorce which is by mutual consent.

Taking it to court will achieve nothing. Proof of adultery is merely a reason for divorce if one partner refuses.

He doesn't have to do anything at all. If he refuses a consensual divorce, she would need to go to court to get a divorce. That would be an expensive undertaking so it's likely they will just remain married until the guy comes to his senses and signs the papers.

...until she fcked up.  Taking it to court may achieve a whole lot of satisfaction for the husband, I know it would for me.

No she wouldn't, he's taking her to court for the divorce.  How do you know what his likely finances are, anyway?
