What is it about Trump that triggers you and causes you so much angst and unease
A smarter version of the usual "I'm not a Trumper", but.... -

Musk lands reusable rocket on a drone ship.
I've lived in a company town before. Generally <deleted>ty places. What outsiders think of it will be irrelevant as it will be offlimits to them. American definitions of "cities" are strange. This place is barely a hamlet, and nearly everyone is an employee of Musk. https://www.msn.com/en-in/news/other/spacex-s-starbase-gets-the-green-light-from-voters-elon-musk-s-texas-dream-city-becomes-reality/ar-AA1E7MFg As the newly formed city prepares for growth, the implications of tech-driven city-building are already coming into focus. Starbase could set a precedent for other tech companies to follow suit, creating private cities with their own governance and rules. While the move offers SpaceX greater flexibility in planning and development, it also raises questions about the power companies could wield over local communities. Local officials, including Cameron County Judge Eddie Trevino, Jr., have expressed concern about the centralisation of power. Trevino has stated that the county government has worked well with SpaceX so far and that there is no need for the city’s new authorities to have control over public areas like the beach. Another proposed bill aims to make it a Class B misdemeanor, punishable by up to 180 days in jail, for anyone refusing to evacuate the beach during closures. Critics argue this would further consolidate control over the land. Today, the area surrounding SpaceX resembles a scene from a science fiction film. The town is dotted with futuristic manufacturing facilities, rows of nearly identical houses, and even a large bronze bust of Elon Musk. As SpaceX plans to increase the number of launches from five to 25 per year, the city’s governance will play a key role in shaping the future of the region. Someone didn't like the statue of Musk Starbase company house. Yeah, predictable design. Think 1950s not 2050s. Seahaven comes to mind. Everyone in identical houses, with Tesla roofs, company grass, company blue chippings, all the same Tesla cars. Look like they are built on the cheap looking at the cheap poured concrete drives. -

America Is Already Great Innit Mates
Hey, and there is hope for advisor status. If Pete Hegseth, Robert Kennedy and Pam Bondi can make it, so can you. Even an average Joe can be a cabinet pick. Just make sure your grooming skills are up to par and you bring plenty of chapstick for butt kissing relief. -

All that and he’s also a very cruel person, I think he gets off on being cruel. -
