If Harris wins, Trump supporters will claim fraud and will do whatever they can to cause disruption and turmoil, including committing acts of violence.

If Trump wins, the Democrats will reluctantly accept defeat but will continue their attacks on Trump. Then Trump, acting now as president, will start taking revenge on his opponents and detractors using his executive powers and his newly appointed leaders of the Department of Justice, and his supporters will assist in that by committing acts of violence against his opponents.

Either way, Trump supporters will cause a lot of havoc and violence after the election.

That's my prediction, anyway...

I actually agree with you that everyone who votes should be required to identify themselves. The problem with IDs is that not everyone has one. I don't think that just because someone does not have a particular type of ID, they should not be allowed to vote. For example, perhaps they could be accompanied by someone else who could vouch for their identity.

However, voting requirements are left up to each state. Some, as you indicate above, require no ID, and some, unfortunately, will only accept a short list of photo IDs that not everyone has. 

The bottom line for me is that not having an ID should not be a big problem. Your vote could be taken but put on hold somehow, and only counted if its necessary to determine the outcome of the election. Then, your vote could be scrutinized more closely.
