While we're on the subject of death row, I've just watched all four series of Rectify (2013-2016). After 16 years on death row, a man gets a reprieve after new DNA evidence comes to light. Really good drama with very good acting performances. Recommended.
Every time I see these heavy handed government actions telling people what to put in their body, or not, it makes me think of the immortal words of Edgar Friendly:
Watch Nomadland, the movie from 2020.
Widow living in her van working odd jobs around the U.S. southwest.
Sad film for many reasons, but the RV-ing for life characters make telling statements about why they're living that way.
Building a wall on their Cambodian border?
Then, illegal aliens will start to come through the tunnel beneath it.
As demonstrated on US-Mexican border..
