As I've said many times in the past I have major issues with Trump and Vance. I do not have issues with his supporters, I do not have issues with conservatives, I understand why they want to vote for him, I understand that many of the issues they have are different than mine. And that is totally valid. Some of my best friends and some very close family members are conservatives, we have dialogues, and when we discuss politics it is done with mutual affection and respect. 

 

When we start degenerating into a hateful mob, reduced to insults and memes, that's when we really have a problem.

 

Often times when I'm speaking to somebody about politics and we've never spoken before on that subject I'll start off by saying there's one thing you need to know about me, I consider every Democrat at the national level to be a $35 street whore, and I consider every Republican at the national level to be a $40 street whore. Now that we've gotten that out of the way let's talk about politics. It generally puts them at ease.

It's funny to me to hear the words "political career" being used to refer to Trump in any way. I guess because I associate the word career with somebody being a professional at the vocation that they do. And everything Trump has ever done in regards to politics has been an abomination and nothing but fully unprofessional in my opinion.
