A Trump win would be a disaster and a Harris win would be a triumph for democracy.

Let's do Voter ID then in all states, like Trump says!!   Why don't the Democrats want that??! LOL.   Who do you think is cheating??!

  • Oh boo hoo, sad to be an American that no-one else in the World cares about. You're all so fat you could probably do without thanksgiving dinners for a few years anyway.

The world will not end, but it will be a very sad and greatly diminished place if Trump wins again. He needs to be in prison, not the White House.

Will I win the Mega Millions or powerball lottery if either of them wins?  That is about as relevant a question.

I can back up my claim. Musk can't. He's simply FEAR MONGERING.

Well lets see, if all of these millions of illegals get to vote, who are they voting for? Of course the Democrats who provide them with all of their welfare benefits, of course there will never be another fair election if the Dems win.

If all? You mean if down the line they become citizens, right? Along with the dreamers. That's what it's all about, right? Not jobs at all. If it was only about jobs it would be illegal to hire illegals but we don't see prosecutions. It's a classic case of the rich having their cake and eating it too while the sheeple keep them in their castles with ideological bribes.

In 1776 we Brits told you that you were too young and would get yourselves into trouble. But you wouldn't listen. And petulantly upset the tea trolley in Boston  Harbour. You've been squabbling amongst yourselves and calling each other childish names ever since. Now just look at our British government. No. Please don't. They are as much use as a one-legged man in an arse-kicking contest. Politicians? They are Snake oil salesmen, or women. At ninety one next month am I prepared for the world coming to an end? I don't care.😉

HEY ... some of us are still kids and want to live on.  I'm only 70 next month 😎

To the topic ... it's all relative.  Depends what world one lives in.  I live in my own little world, and control everything.   Except the damn weather ... still raining almost everyday, and a few more days forecast.

Beats brutal sun.  Hope this 'climate shift' doesn't affect late April or May's rain arrival.  Hopefully just an extra month of rain this year.

Therefore, 100-percent of the USA believes that the world will end on November 5th, 2024.

your understanding of how the statistics work is sadly lacking so your conclusion is not at all correct

hard to imagine anyone posting such trash, are you human?

No worries.

Both are the worst.

And, you may be correct about the deleted part.

John Oliver getting emotional at the horrific thought of a Trump presidency is utterly insane. He was president for 4 years and it was literally the same old <deleted>, nothing new. If anything there were less wars around. Things these days seem more sinsister and underhand.

Just a case of following one's emotions rather than science.

Most religious zealots pay very little attention to reality.

Reality is not important to them, until it, one day, jumps up and bites them.

How many members of the US congress have taken at least one year of Physics, Organic-Inorganic Chemistry, Biochemistry, and cellular Biology?  Probably none.  How stupid is that?  Don't they realize that science is becoming ever-more important to understand our reality?

Total nitwits.

This is why....one reason why...  America is a Failed State.

And, it's far too late now.

YES, REALLY, the End of the World is nigh.

This is no longer just a joke in any issue of The New Yorker....

What I worry about even more than the end of the world is the loss, for all time, of the Thanksgiving celebration.

After Nov 5th, we will no longer have anything to celebrate, except celebration itself.

Our Thanksgivings, even if we had one, would remain without purpose.

First we lost the The Chicago Redskins...

And, on November 5th, according to everyone, seemingly, is that...

Next, we are now about to lose our DEMOCRACY.....

Too.

It's all just too much when these things happen in the same century, or within less than 100 years.

And, nobody fights back...

Which means we are doomed.

Next, there goes Democracy, too!

The world will remain much the same no matter who's elected. They all do some good things and some stupid, and we all seem to get by anyway. I will celebrate Thanksgiving this month with my family in Texas, with all the trimmings. You can enjoy your tuna in a can.

You're acting like this is a normal election. You're mistaken. This is a historic election where Americans choose between a fascist dictatorship vs. continuing to struggle to have a halfway decent democracy.

I will answer in the equivalent paranoid voice that the left uses at the spectre of a Trump victory...

If Harris wins?!? OMG!!!!! They will trans all my kids! Perform abortions in school cafeterias! Forbid White Men from owning firearms, the black helicopters will hunt me down and take my shotgun!

No, I've been seeing this since Kennedy was president. Yes, it's a bit different this time, but the end result will remain much the same. I knew what Trump was years before he became president, and yes, he isn't presidential material, but his decisions still have to be backed by others. Harris might help change a few things, but neither side has all the common man in mind. We saw what Trumps capable of, and most everyone knows he's not all there, so Harris would be a better choice because there's a chance we would see a few different ideas instead of more of the same. Infighting isn't helping anyone. What will change if either is elected? When will we get free health care? No one's going to take away our guns, so we really don't have to worry about that. Will there be a war? Yes, there will always be wars, and Iran might bring us into another, or if not them, North Korea or any of the rest of disturbed leaders. Will the world end during this election. No.

You don't get it. He won't, and probably won't get elected anyway. If he does, expect more of the same, and if he really messes up, I think more will be after him. You can't end democracy because too many are for it. Trumps losing more respect every day and his mind is going with every appearance. His time is short.

How, exactly?  There are a few steps between;

1. Trump wins election.

2.

3.

4.

5. Dictatorship

And would it be a family style dictatorship? Can we look forward to seeing Don Jr as elPresidente once The Donald shuffles off this mortal coil?

As with most paranoid theories, there is a dearth of detail and an overabundance of hysteria.

Wow just wow! What country you from? How democratic  is it when

14 million voters are disenfranchised from having their primary election vote

count? Leftist Millionaire elites installed choice!

Your comment shows you’re part time

approach the same as Harris and the media avoiding hammering down on Harris 2019 far left ideas, rather dismissive.

Of course from America and seen it all for 68 years. This isn't Thailand where the winner doesn't get in. Votes actually should count, instead of going the electoral way, but they do things the way they think is best. It isn't. I didn't say Harris was a good choice, but the better of the two.

Are you good with an SC made up almost exclusively of Catholics picked by the Federalist Society?

Disagree ,either way your interpretation is wrong!Harris is chosen!

Trump was elected!

Harris will continue to be Biden 2.0

but more DEI and she will let millions more come in!

No one is letting millions come in and never will. They are stopped as soon as they are caught, and most just go back. Some choose asylum and have to be dealt with. Some are okay with spouses joining their spouses in America and I don't see this as a problem, especially if they're working, most in jobs Americans won't take. This also isn't a reason not to want a certain person as a president. The whole group of ideas has to be looked at, and some won't come to fruition anyway. Harris might use some of Biden's ideas but still has some of her own, and might still be the better choice as we've see what Trump does.
