Wasn't much of a demo.

It shouldn't really be possible to look at a person and know exactly what their views are on Trump, on climate change, on gender etc, but one look at that person and I feel I know exactly what every single one her political views is, that she is a net recipient of taxpayers money and is currently and always will be a burden on the UK.

It’s funny that the topic is Liberal meltdown but all I see is comments from Republicans still disrespecting the Democrats and gloating over the win.

I think the meltdown is coming from the right knowing now that the future that has been decided is very bleak. That said, the Republicans finally won fair and square so congratulations on the win.

So happy I am 15,000 km away.

Pity the nation that is full of beliefs and empty of religion.
Pity the nation that wears a cloth it does not weave
and eats a bread it does not harvest.

Pity the nation that acclaims the bully as hero,
and that deems the glittering conqueror bountiful.

Pity a nation that despises a passion in its dream,
yet submits in its awakening.

Pity the nation that raises not its voice
save when it walks in a funeral,
boasts not except among its ruins,
and will rebel not save when its neck is laid
between the sword and the block.

Pity the nation whose statesman is a fox,
whose philosopher is a juggler,
and whose art is the art of patching and mimicking

Pity the nation that welcomes its new ruler with trumpeting,
and farewells him with hooting,
only to welcome another with trumpeting again.

Pity the nation whose sages are dumb with years
and whose strongmen are yet in the cradle.

Pity the nation divided into fragments,
each fragment deeming itself a nation.

They are going to have to accept that theirs are minority views.🤣

True, in this election we are clearly in the minority. Do tell, in history has the majority always been right? We will all live with the result around the globe …

Recommend reading the Atlantic Daily analysis I posted. I too am glad to be out of the physical USA … estranged.

Strange, that there are still those who want to claim that Trump is a Conservative. He actively caters to that group but shares none of their core values. For him, it is all about power and revenge.

and staying out of prison.

Well, he's got the power, so his enemies better be afraid.

Why? are you saying that people now have no free speech and will start to fall out of windows as in Russia?

Perhaps there is a sub species of Homo Sapiens where people that believe HRC, Biden and Harris are actually capable of being a good POTUS can be filed.

Seriously, I know you are "upset" that your cult leader lost to the worst man on the planet, but there is more to be exercised about than someone saying humans that are Democrats are a species.

I don't have a cult leader and I'm not upset but like most Europeans I'm appalled, on the other hand we are accustomed to the Americans way of thinking, a bible in one hand and a gun in the other.
