Women should't use alcohol or other drugs. Why, because they can't handle the drugs, especially when using alch

Defo not you...  you have never boasted about drink driving (that I'm aware of).

I think it can be blamed on someone being outrageously stupid and also drunk !!!

Agree

Why rehab ?...

DUI doesn't imply substance abuse...  it just implies she was driving drunk that night, which given the socail climate and attitudes here, is not abnormal.

I guess you've never heard of AA

Alcoholics anonymous.. it is a rehab institution.... I'm sure Thailand has something similar

Like you wouldn’t do this completely sober on a double-dog-dare. Freak.

What are you  talking about? What do you mean? This news is about a person  driving drunk on the wrong side of the road. What has that to do with me?

Besides that you try to blame the wreckless driving on the fact she is a women. You must have male superiority complex.

As far as the DUI is concerned - as per Gottfrids commment, she must have been so far gone she was tranqulised.

... There's a certain poster on this forum who will no doubt defend DUI and blame something else, anything else other than the booze.

Wow that is dangerous.

speeding and driving in the wrong direction.

Very important to pay extra attention to the road rules after having a couple.

If you are going to have a couple and drive please slow down.

Better advice would be to drive carefully at all times... And if a person is going to have a couple and remain within the DUI limit, drive in the same careful manner...

This lady didn't have a couple, we was well over the limit - but perhaps did not have 10-12 beers though...

You've taken a huge leap and inferred that someone caught drink driving is an alcholic, and thus needs a rehab support group...  This is clearly incorrect, a logical fallacy.

Example at hand: MalcomB has admited in other threads to regularly drink driving after as much as 10-12 beers...  But, that does not mean he is an alcoholic and needs the help of AA.

The wrong side drivers, both MC and cars are all over. Main reason why I avoid driving when dark. Not seldom they also have defect lights. Daytime driving is ok, even if then there are many driving on wrong side, but in daylight it is not that big problem like when the darkness set in. They never get caught, so it never gets better. Often cars do it to save a mile to avoid using the correct U-turn, but motorbikes do it even more frequently. The police here is close to 100% stationary, so the risk of getting caught is close to zero, and if they get fined it is more like a hand slap than a fine that hurts. I lived here 29 years now and this behaviour has not improved. Not even slightly.

If your Thai and well dressed you might get a 200 Bhat ticket for going the wrong way on a MB
