Politically, Trump is a creature of the billionaire class. His major backers are  billionaire technocrats (Musk, Peter Thiel), Israeli supporters (Madeline Adelson), old money (Peter Mellon), and Paypal exec David Sacks -- all of whom have extensive ties with the "Deep State," the military, the financial class. What do you think these people want for their money?

You missed out a couple of other "interested parties", in particular the health"insurance" and pharmaceutical industries. Together they will expect and receive the demise of any real attempt to provide a "non profit" health system.

I've mentioned it a few times in other threads.

 

The word democracy is practically meaningless.

Maybe oligarchy or plutocracy is more accurate.

Maybe it was decided that Trump would be figurehead a few years ago and the elections were just a show.

 

But that doesn't mean every decision they make is BAD for everyone.

It doesn't mean they always only think about themselves and don't care about the lower classes at all.

 

Also, they need people to be working and productive in order to maintain their billionaire status. 

 

But it doesn't mean you will agree with everything they're doing.

And they don't care what you think.

Especially Peter Thiel, the so called libertarian who believes tech monopolies should be given free reign, who  opposes Medicare and Social Security, who calls himself a corporate Nietzchean, and complained in 2009 that democracy suffered when the vote was given to women.
