A Thai social media influencer and Bangkok police officers rescued a two month old baby from her abusive 15 year old mother, leading to the discovery of the teenager’s tragic life of rape, drug use and underage prostitution.

The social media influencer, Guntouch “Gun” Pongpaiboonwet, and police officers raided a house in Soi Charan Sanitwong 13 in the Phasi Charoen district of Bangkok yesterday, November 18, to rescue the baby. They successfully rescued the child as the mother was seen fleeing the house with a man.

Gun managed to find the woman at about 1am on the same day. She admitted to physically abusing her child and then revealed the full extent of the abuse she endured for years.

The 15 year old girl, whose identity remains undisclosed, revealed that she is gay and interested in women, not men. However, her uncle forced her to take methamphetamine, also known as Yaba, and repeatedly raped her. This changed everything in her life.

Her aunt knew about the assault but did not offer any help. She forced the girl to sell sex and took all the money. The girl was stressed and had self-harmed many times before.

To earn enough money for her aunt, she had to provide sex services to her relatives and locals in the area. She became pregnant and did not know who the father of her child was. She confessed to harming her child due to her stress.

The girl claimed that she did not intend to flee from the house when Gun and other officers arrived. She had to leave with a client who already arranged a service.

Nevertheless, the girl’s mother gave a different account, saying she took care of the baby and had never let the girl be the breadwinner.

The two month old baby is now under the care of the Ministry of Social Development and Human Security (M-Society), while the girl will return to her studies under the care of Gun.

Channel 7 reported that the police would conduct a further investigation into the girl’s claims about drug use and prostitution. Initial investigations revealed that most of her customers were men aged over 50 in the community.
