A brutal antisemitic attack in London’s Stamford Hill neighborhood left a young Jewish teenager severely injured on Monday evening, sparking outrage and concern in the community. Stamford Hill, home to a significant Orthodox Jewish population, has seen its residents shaken by the incident.

Video shows the street, right up to the school’s gate, covered in shattered glass following an antisemitic attack on Orthodox Jewish schoolchildren.

The attack occurred at the Woodberry Down Estate in Hackney, where London’s Metropolitan Police were called at approximately 7:45 pm. Reports indicated that a man on a balcony had targeted a group of Jewish teenage girls, who were on their way to a rehearsal in east London. According to the London Shomrim, a Jewish civil patrol organization, the assailant hurled glass bottles at the girls, leading to one of them being gravely injured.

The victim, a 14-year-old girl, sustained head and facial injuries from the assault. She was quickly transported to Royal London Hospital by volunteer medics from Hatzolah Ambulance for emergency care. The London Shomrim issued a statement expressing the community’s shock and distress, saying, “This attack on innocent young Jewish girls has shocked the community.”

The organization further emphasized their role in supporting the affected families, adding, “Shomrim are supporting the victims and their families whilst MPS Hackney investigate this abhorrent hate crime.”

Law enforcement authorities are treating the incident as a potential antisemitic hate crime. However, Metropolitan Police officers who responded to the scene were unable to locate the suspect. They have since confirmed that the investigation is ongoing and are working to bring the perpetrator to justice.

This incident has not only caused physical harm but also sent ripples of fear through Stamford Hill’s Jewish community, which has long prided itself on resilience and unity. The attack has underscored the urgent need for vigilance and strengthened measures to combat antisemitism in all forms.

Shameful attack on innocent young girls.
I hope that they catch him and if he is an immigrant, deport him.

The nature of the beast shows again.  Only way to to stop this is to send them back to where they came from. All of them.

You really think they will look too hard  and upset the 'probable ethnic/religious group'  electorate responsible ?

The latest in a long list of anti-semitic crimes.

Is it really any wonder when the police themselves are threatening to arrest Jews for being "openly Jewish" and join in Pro Palestine chants at Anti Israel rallys?

The UK is in a shocking state and it will only get worse under Labour.

Sad to see that jews in London, now need their own guards - see it outside most jewish schools and synagogues. I always find it fascinating to drive through Stamford Hill. Seeing all the orthodox jews going about their daily business. I used to live nearby in Leyton in the early 1990s and drove through Stamford Hill daily. It has changed so much since then - and not for the better! Nowadays, all the areas around there appear to be about 90% middle east, south asian or african immigrants.

Just up the road from there, in Haringey, there were at least seven terrorist arrests yesterday of suspects of the proscribed PKK Kurdish terrorist group. REUTERS
