Social Media Posted November 27, 2024 Posted November 27, 2024 A recent video of Vice President Kamala Harris addressing supporters following her 2024 presidential election defeat has gained significant attention online, sparking a range of reactions. The clip, posted by the Democratic Party's account on X (formerly Twitter), showcases Harris thanking donors and delivering a motivational message. However, it has also drawn criticism and skepticism over its presentation and content. The 28-second video, released on Tuesday, features Harris urging her audience to stay resilient despite the election outcome. “I just have to remind you: Don’t you ever let anybody take your power from you. You have the same power that you did before November 5, and you have the same purpose that you did. And you have the same ability to engage and inspire, so don’t ever let anybody or any circumstance take your power from you,” Harris said during the call. Social media users quickly picked up on the video, which has since gone viral with over 8.4 million views, 6,400 reposts, and 11,000 likes. Critics questioned the decision to publish the clip, with Ben Williamson, a former communications specialist for the Trump White House, reposting it alongside a caption that read, “I’d read a 5,000-word article on how this got approved for release.” His remark drew agreement from others, including Steve Guest, a former special communications adviser to Senator Ted Cruz. Joe Concha, a Fox News contributor, expressed doubts about the clip, commenting, “I’m not sure you guys want to be amplifying this. There’s something, ummmm, off with the vice president.” The video also received harsh criticism from conservative commentator Benny Johnson, who shared an extended 10-minute version of Harris' remarks. In this longer version, Harris praised Minnesota Governor Tim Walz, her running mate, and other supporters, but Johnson’s caption focused on her campaign’s financial losses. He wrote, “FULL VIDEO: Kamala Harris addresses supporters three weeks after humiliating loss to Trump in painfully CRINGE 10 minute rant where she brags about wasting over $1.4 BILLION in donor money. This is hard to watch—YIKES.” FULL VIDEO: Kamala Harris addresses supporters three weeks after humiliating loss to Trump in painfully CRINGE 10 minute rant where she brags about wasting over $1.4 BILLION in donor money. Newsweek reportedly reached out to Harris' campaign for comment but had not received a response at the time of reporting. This video, while intended as a moment of gratitude and inspiration, highlights the heightened scrutiny political figures face in the age of social media, where every gesture is dissected and amplified for millions to judge. dinsdale Posted November 28, 2024 Posted November 28, 2024 This thread hasn't been up long but the anti-Trump tantrum throwing toddlers are slow to post. Kamala good. Trump bad. 1
Popular Post JonnyF Posted November 28, 2024 Popular Post Posted November 28, 2024 Just as boring, inane and cringe as her campaign was. DEI firmly rejected. Trans ideology firmly rejected. Open borders firmly rejected. Doomsday cultism formly rejected. Liars like Harris firmly rejected. Well done America. I thought she might pull the wool over your eyes for a moment. Kudos (to most of you) for seeing through this utter fraud of a woman. 2 1

I was reading about how she has laid off thousands of campaign workers without any thanks or compensation. So perhaps those left are not responding for a reason.
RichardColeman Posted November 28, 2024 Posted November 28, 2024 Best news this week was bernie sanders talking about forming a 2nd democrat party - nothing better than a split lefty vote 1

dinsdale Posted November 28, 2024 Posted November 28, 2024 Still no anti-Trump rhetoric. Not surprised but I guess the Harris supporters and hence supporters of the radical woke left agenda are going to be a bit quiet on this thread.
save the frogs Posted November 28, 2024 Posted November 28, 2024 I didn't watch it. Did she break out into a cackle?
