That would be Joe Biden, Hunter Biden and family via their crime syndicate. Dozens of LLC's, hundreds of bank accounts managing no product or service. But don't let the facts get in the way of your opinion

Don't let your opinion get in the way of facts.

He didn't!

The guy's a genius, if a tad awkward.

If you call stealing the concept of FB from Winklvoss twins genius ok then.

In that case we might as well have a chip implanted in our brain that controls us. I prefer to believe that humans can exist and function without having to rely on technology. Billions do still, but unfortunately not in the western countries, where if the internet is unavailable because a storm destroys the infrastructure, heads will start exploding.

I was lucky and grew up in a world where the internet and the vile social media did not exist.

However I'm told that the internet is great when it comes to sex ed for children with all the porn on it.

When the likes of Zuckerberg can have influence on the political sphere, I know it's almost time for the fat lady to sing for the western world.

I'm not saying I like the idea nor perhaps does PE Trump but no doubt he wants to keep an eye on what is going on to avoid surprises. No doubt the IT crowd feel the same same about him...hence I used the word 'need'. A 'world communication' system was almost inevitbale because such ideas were around in the 1930/1940's. Information Theory, IT, was born when Claud Shanon, Alan Turing and others were busy laying the groundwork for what we have today. I too grew up in an era where there wasn't an internet & social media and although I knew nothing of Alan Turing's work I did know a little about C. Shanon etc...and studiying Astronomy at the time it wasn't hard to extrapolate and guess what was coming.

Trump is not even sworn in yet.

How silly of me .

I forgot Morning Joe and his female sidekick.

That certainly pissed off a lot of leftists

How many more leftists will be flying down to Florida to kiss Trump's ring before Inauguration Day?

None of this ever happened with President elect Biden.

Meta CEO Mark Zuckerberg recently dined with President-elect Donald Trump at Trump’s Mar-a-Lago resort, signaling a surprising thaw in what was once a tense relationship between the two. Historically, the tech mogul and Trump have not shared a cordial rapport, with tensions peaking when Trump was barred from Meta platforms Facebook and Instagram following the Capitol riots in 2021. Trump, in turn, had publicly threatened Zuckerberg with jail if he interfered in the 2024 presidential election.

The dinner appears to mark a significant shift in their relationship. A Meta spokesperson told the BBC, "Mark was grateful for the invitation to join President Trump for dinner and the opportunity to meet with members of his team about the incoming administration. It’s an important time for the future of American innovation."

Trump’s stance on Zuckerberg has softened in recent months. In August, the president-elect wrote in a book that Zuckerberg would “spend the rest of his life in prison” if he attempted to influence the 2024 election. However, by October, Trump struck a more conciliatory tone, acknowledging during a podcast interview that it was "nice" Zuckerberg was "staying out of the election." Trump also expressed gratitude for a personal call from Zuckerberg following an assassination attempt on his life.

Zuckerberg, too, has appeared to adopt a more accommodating approach. His suspension of Trump from Meta platforms was lifted earlier this year. Additionally, Zuckerberg has publicly expressed regret for Meta’s decision to de-emphasize content related to allegations against Hunter Biden prior to the 2020 election, a move that some conservatives criticized as biased. He has also pledged to avoid further contributions to electoral infrastructure, after a $400 million donation in 2020 sparked controversy. Zuckerberg has maintained that his intentions were non-partisan and aimed at supporting fair elections.

While the specifics of the Mar-a-Lago dinner remain undisclosed, the timing of the meeting is noteworthy. Meta continues to face significant regulatory challenges, including an antitrust case filed by the Federal Trade Commission (FTC) in 2020. Strengthening ties with the incoming administration could potentially influence how these challenges unfold.

Despite these developments, Zuckerberg’s budding relationship with Trump has been overshadowed by the president-elect’s close alliance with Elon Musk. The owner of X (formerly Twitter) has not only endorsed Trump but has also contributed over $100 million to his campaign. Musk’s influence has grown to such an extent that he has been appointed to lead a new Department of Government Efficiency, known as DOGE, granting him significant sway over both government policy and regulatory matters.

As Trump continues to build his administration, the evolving dynamics between big tech leaders and the president-elect offer a glimpse into how innovation and regulation may shape under his leadership. For Zuckerberg, the dinner at Mar-a-Lago might represent more than just a reconciliation—it could be a strategic move to secure Meta’s future amidst increasing scrutiny.

So, all you have left is condemning what the man eats.

Maybe you seeing him eating McDonald's was a bit of a payback for his epic campaign stunt at McDonald's

You're either soyboi health nut or more likely yet another of the masses staying well clear of Thai food with all the typical excuses yet the reality is you can't eat rice or spicy food and you in fact in the same banal, bland food as Trump

I had to look that up to remind me what it is.

I don't think Zuckerberg has been red pilled, I think he just a gutless little PO* that abandoned all his previous beliefs because he thinks he might lose it all if Trump supports breaking up his vile social media platform, so he's gone on his belly to try and escape what should be his fate.

Whatever I think about Musk, if he were in that position IMO he'd give Trump the finger salute and shout "bring it on M F".

Zuckerberg has been very smart once more. Meta's thread has gotten a large number of new subscribers who left X and Meta's profitability is going up significantly as a result.😆

As you introduced Musk in the discussion, it's him the sucker. 😆

X revenues have been collapsing while Zuckerberg's Thread was siphoning X users (see my previous post).

NB. Of course, Musk will likely compensate this loss thanks to increased federal subsidies from Trump

This made me realize it might actually favor DT to keep Garland as AG, as he will do nothing.  Oh wait, he did go after Biden's son, so it can't be said he did nothing.  Was Garland afraid to do anything?

Y'know, FB can be replaced  -- for a glimpse of how, just follow the dots to how FB replaced MySpace.

When you are a party who's only principal is to secure and maintain power in order to impose your socialist philosophy on unwilling people, hypocrisy, lies, backstabbing, propaganda, violence, racism and hatred are your guiding tactics. Zuckerberg is heart a leftist and I hope Trump sees through him.

I forgot about old Tug where is he at I haven't seen him. Did Danderman ever come back from voting in America?

Def don't see him because he was the FIRST poster in most anti trump threads at 3/4 AM! It's soo typical. The other guy has 1.9 million posts soo that just stays the same.

You say you are an object of interest for your government? What did you do? Or not do?

Well, the thing is, they do not need to chip people to keep track of them, and if someone really wanted to find you, they most likely would.

Anyway, it is a father on the run in your country with his kids, right?

I don't like being tracked and spied on and having everything I write on the internet scrutinised by some spotty youth that can't get a real job. Obviously I have to accept that I have to be careful what I put on here.

I don't know what the father on the run has to do with anything, but yes, and I doubt he has a mobile phone or credit cards. We live in a sad world where a nasty woman can deprive a man of his kids because the courts are biased against fathers.

Even George Orwell didn't guess at how actually bad it really became. We live in a world where the nightmares are real, and controlled by men we will never know. Who know what monsters still lurk in the shadows?

BTW, I think we can blame Babbage (1791-1871) for the monsters we know about. I gather he was the inspiration for Turing's infernal computer ( though it did come in handy for defeating the German U boats, so not all bad ).

Leave Tug alone.  Isn't it nice without hearing how articulate Harris was from him?

Didn't he also tell us how intellectually competent Biden was, till he got removed for being mentally incompetent. I still don't understand how he could not be competent to be the next POTUS, yet allowed to remain as POTUS.

Can anyone explain that?

BTW, Biden seems to be rather quiet recently, is this a real life version of the movie Dave?

I learned about AT's ideas/experiments later and cracking the Enigma code was just one, another was considering AI and overseeing Britains first computer manufacture in the Midlands. Lovelace and Babbage really put an 'engine' on to what counting devices were around at the time.

I don't see modern technology as having 'monsters' but having a 'dark side' as one of the consequences of its use (LASER is a good example).

I would expect PE Trump to be no different to other Head of State being interested in what modern tech can do.

For sure they will use it for dirty tricks. Just imagine what awful things they will get up to with AI- actually I'm not evil enough to imagine all the awful things they will get up to. Expect the first use will be by criminal gangs to blackmail people with fake photos. The old adage that if one is innocent one doesn't need to fear is no more. A world where we can trust nothing is coming.
