They're certainly entitled to Free Speech, in other positions outside Trump's gov't. And they will exercise it for financial gain whenever possible. He wants power. And manipulating Trump is the easiest way to get it. With Trump being so easily manipulated by simple praise, he'll be essentially running the government. Why do you think Musk is essentially attached to trump's hip these days? It's because if he is absent, some other person will be whispering in trump's ear and he'll lose his power.

Right wingers are IMO in favour of wars and such like unpleasantness, but Trump has proven he does not share the blood lust. Biden was more of a right winger on violence than Trump.
