Thailand Urged to Form ‘War Room’ in Response to US Tariffs
The typical ill-informed rantings of a MAGA fanatic. As I've already pointed out, it's not about tarriffs - it's about trade deficits and even if Thailand dropped all tarriffs on US products tomorrow, that doesn't mean the trade deficit is going to improve. Thai's are not going to simply buy more US products and certainly not to the tune of $45B. You need to have a market that wants the product in the first place (big problem) and the product (even without tarriffs) still has to be competatively priced against other similar manufacturers who are closer (China for example) and have lower logistic costs. A big dent could be made in natural gas, but even if Thailand stopped buying all of it's natural gas from other markets and bought it all from America (highly unlikely), this would still only be $11B. That's still $34B to go which just cannot be made up with buying more US products. So take off you MAGA blinkers for a second, read an article now and again and stop with all this sycophantic nonsense when it comes to this man. Meeting the right Thai lady on a chat forum that you and her connect with
First I'd like to mentioned ( mod can delete if necessary ) that I started almost 2 years ago to check out a chat site for Thai women, why, well that will have to go back to my high school days. OK, first one was "thai friendly", won't go into that one other than, can you pay for my car payments and I dropped my phone in the muddy waters in the puddles on the countryside road. OK, second one is " thai cupid ". Now with the help of my friends on Discord they were absolutely right about the first chat room. Did I listen to them, yes. Ok, on thai cupid I decided to go with the paid subscription also, this time I wanted to find ( experience taught me well, be prepared ) have a purpose. So after getting about 600 hearts just only in a few days, it was "paid subscription for me ". Why, the following will tell you why. Also, I went in looking for a "pen pal". I recommend anyone reading this to do the same, that is if you want to. You'll find ( come across most likely a lady working for the Thai govt.) OK, my journey begins after nearly a 5 decade relationship with a Japanese lady I met in Japan. For me, I wanted an outdoor type of lady to go camping and cycling in Thailand with. Did I come across such a genuine Thai lady with that in mind. Long story. You guys keep guessing on that one. OK, for the meat and potatoes of a relationship with a Thai lady I met on thai cupid that is going on for over a year and a half. 1. having them signals of genuine interest... in some ways yes and most ways, she never cycled or been camping (true) 2. Honest and consistent conversation online and in person... most definitely 100% on this one 3. Wants to learn about me... well, Thai ladies may not ask, so I opened up little by little before actually flying to her country to meet and be with her 4. No emotions... good I thought, wise lady... she took her time to get to know some about me 5. I thought about the way my mother taught us kids about respect and politeness and I know she felt relax after I opened her car door for her at DMK 6. Her upbringing is in the Buddha tradition as I found out about her mother's way of life. Her politeness was warm and very friendly 7. First she took me to the immigration office and did all the paper work... went smoothly, then to meet her parents. I showed my respect by showing the Wai to them, I guess that opened up their feelings for their daughter's new friend. One day later I was surprise with a birthday cake with 2 hearts on it and my nickname and a beautiful bicycle iced on it. It was a copy of my cycling Tee-shirt for cycling Thailand. Such a heart-warming was in the air filled with warm smiles of trust for their daughter's new friend. ( pen pal " now you may know why I mentioned, "start out as a pen pal". Her father speaks English, yet her mother only speaks Thai 8. Next was to introduce me to her neighbors and her life long school friends. We eventually had many dinners of all of us together. 9. It was time then to her to introduce me to some Thai culture. We visited the Temple high up in the mountain out of Bangkok ( sorry, I don't know the name, (when I find out, I'll have a mod put it in here), we brought water for the Buddhist Monks. We stayed there and did some Buddhist traditions. It was all in Thai. We most likely left with the Buddhist Monk's blessing for our newly found friendship 10. Over time while online, I casually mentioned a little about my job and financial background, going at it lightly, but honestly. To my surprise, which I am happy, we are still together over one and a half years later 11. On a side note, she has NEVER ask for any financial support, I actually had to beg her for I can pay for the meals. She insisted that she pays her own, I had to give up, but put money in my debit card and let her handle the affairs that way including paying sometimes for the gasoline 12. She is "kreng jai" I should say about our online and in person relationship. Hope I used the correct word here 13. It was nice to know we shared values of loyalty and our life styles. We will be visiting the Bangkok Orphanage again in May. This will be our 3rd visit. We have brought American and Japanese candy for the children there which we were told exceeds 400 The staff allowed pictures of the staff with us, but of course, not the children 14. Do we or have we found compatibility in our relationship... I hope what share does not change 15. Well, without really saying much about meeting the lady in your life... on thai cupid, wish you much happiness with her in closing I'd like to say that international long distance relationship must rely on honesty and loyalty thanks for reading and all your guys support
