Human Rights Watch's new "genocide" report is a farce. It centers on alleged water deprivation and claims that "thousands of Gazans have died from dehydration," yet cannot substantiate a single case where someone definitively died of dehydration.

Rather, they rely on hearsay and testimonies from Hamas Health Ministry officials and either political activist doctors or "useful idiot" doctors. Dehydration is always listed as a "contributing factor" or something like that.

But even assuming that their central contention is true—which it manifestly is not—the notion that Israel is responsible for it is ludicrous.
 

I would trust hrw and numerous others governments and aid organisations over some Twitter accounts.

Hamas have been shown to give fake figures .

You are just trusting numerous groups/people who are repeating the same fake figures .

   If one person tells a lie and lots of people repeat that lie , then that doesn't make the original lie to be true

The amnesty report get their figures from the same source , Hamas , is what I meant ,

So lets get this right. You would trust hrw that was reported in the BBC with zero evidence on its claims but not the official Israel Gov Cogat quotes in the same twitter link that is via an established independent investigative journalist who adds his own information and direct link to Cogat.

 

Now why on earth does that not surprise me, an official Israeli source...........

Israeli doesn't allow any journalists from outside Gaza entry so how can international journalists see for themselves?

Of course Israel may argue it's too dangerous for international journalists to enter but if Israel is so precise in it's attacks, as it claims ( only kill Hamas terrorists), then they should let foreign observers in.

Or are they trying to hide something?

Your losing the plot, your forgetting the danger that Hamas terrorists pose to International journalists, they'd love to kidnap a few of them. Its not like Hamas dress in combat clothes, they mingle among the civilians. Blind you really are.

I you want a lasting peace  someone has to lose Big ... thats the law of the jungle ..negotiated  peace or appeasement is only pushing  the next conflict  down the road ... Same in Ukraine if we want a peaceful Europe , Putin needs to lose big ,other wise he will return again ,, Like Hitler did ...    China needs to learn the same lesson in South China sea  it cant unilaterally grab , taiwan ,phillipine  . malaysian, Japanese islands and waters  with impunity

By the way. I certainly agree the BBCs Jeremy Bowen should be allowed in right away. No protection from the IDF and get himself some exclusive Hamas terrorist interviews.

Do you not find it ironic that it was BBC Arabic that complained about Meta. Yet the BBC had a reporter who lived in Gaza and reported daily, until he decided to leave.

He decided to leave with his family because it was too dangerous. Too many explosions. He laments the banning of foreign journalists by Israel and Egypt.
