A group of disgruntled individuals, led by Thammanun Tangtim, known as King of Saphan Mai, filed a complaint against a construction company owner for allegedly abandoning projects and withholding employee salaries, resulting in damages exceeding 30 million baht. The incident took place yesterday, December 9, at the Crime Suppression Division on Phahonyothin Road.

Thailand Boosts Holiday Tourism With Streamlined Airport Measures

In preparation for a significant influx of foreign tourists over the New Year holiday season, Pol. Maj. Gen. Phanumas Bunyalak, the acting commissioner of the Immigration Bureau, inspected Suvarnabhumi Airport on December 9th. This initiative is in line with Prime Minister Paetongtarn Shinawatra's policy of boosting tourism through visa-free entry for 93 countries, a strategy first initiated by former Prime Minister Srettha Thavisin. This policy has proven successful post-COVID-19, with over 28 million foreign visitors entering Thailand since January 2024.
