With your behavioural  history , I don't see how you could consider yourself to be a "good guy" and any misfortune that happens could indeed be regarded as being karma

I'm not superstitious.

There are no invisible forces watching over us or punishing/rewarding us for our actions.

Putting superstition and karma aside , you cannot consider yourself to be a good person with your previous behaviour .

That is not what good people do .

I don't believe a Thai would attack me because he knew I was a bad person.

But a Thai may attack me (or anyone else) because HE was a bad person.

You like to make personal attacks on other forum members ......does that make YOU a bad person?

If one person attacks another because of that persons bad behaviour, it can be understandable .

Like if you abused a person daughter, you can understand the Father seeking retribution on the abuser

Quite a few members on this forum seem to be under the impression that Thais like to beat up foreigners for enjoyment, pleasure or because of some sort of hatred. That happens in some countries obviously but I don’t think Thais are really wired that way.

While others, including others always feel very safe walking around, even late at night around large groups of Thai strangers. As long as you are friendly and polite you have nothing to worry about, unless perhaps you come across someone with mental issues.

Of course if you are aggressive or rude to Thais as many foreigners are you will eventually come unstuck and they often end up in the news reports.. Some people mistake kindness for weakness.

what do you think?

Are you scared to go out at night amongst Thais or do you feel safe in Thailand?

Personally I feel safer here walking around alone, drunk late at night whether it be in Bangkok or a small village than I do back in London.

I am naive or are others plain paranoid?

I'm not afraid. I'm 190cm, walking with my Labrador, so what?

I get assaulted by ladies,  every time I go down Soi 6

:heart_001: Thailand.

Never a problem in 15 years living here.  Much safer than where I lived in the US, which was a supposedly 'safe' area with supposedly low crime.

Yeh, but, you tell lies, so I reckon you are in the bad person bracket, so don't have a pop at others you purport to be bad.................:coffee1:

Phadungsit is a famous school that teaches traditional martial arts.

Kickboxing uses the feet and legs while Muay Thai uses every part of the body.

That's quite surprising, as your pathological behaviour on this forum implies you'd be exactly the kind of person to get attacked by a noble and vengeful group of citizens.

Nah, they love me.

Think I am wonderful.

Crikey, look below at Goergie boys comment, so many likes, loves etc. never, ever have I seen so many positive emoji's from a Georgie boy comment in the past, NEVER. They are always sad and confused emoji's only.

Go Georgie, you've got all the haters, all the nasty, miserable sods are on your side.

Yeah right the first time I came to Los I got attacked on my first day at the ATM

One incident doesn't mean anything statistically. Plus, we have no idea as to your credibility

Why don't you go back to secondary school and pick up where you left off? Maybe even get a diploma!

Don't be too complacent though

I never forget the young Aussie stabbed to death in Isaan 10 or so years ago riding his motorcycle

But Thailand much safer and farang friendly than the Philippines, now they hate foreigners

Spoken like a bigot. Filipinos are very nice people. How many do you know? I've known quite a few. One incident doesn't make for a pattern nor is it statistically significant.
