It means the people who voted for him are not as bright as him.

Bit like in Oz - what the Yes referendum luvvies thought of the No voters - either misinformed or racist. Vast majority were neither. Just wide awake to the inane righteous narrative from the inner cities and activists, backed by most media, gullible big business and celebrities. Similar to the recent US election.

Trump is a narcissistic, unpleasant chap in much of what he says, but he's not dumb. He'll be a short snippet showman, doesn't care what mainstream media thinks as he realises that to his target audience and swinging voters they are largely distrusted and irrelevant.

In long interviews he displays a good understanding of what ails the US. The country needs industry humming again, and a dramatic overhaul of some of their institutions. 92% Dem vote in DC says a lot, is unhealthy and it manifests with overzealous regulations and soft Left leanings in academia, judiciary as well as environment. Ditto Canberra.

What's more, key leaders around the world, particularly in the Middles East and Europe, either respect him, fear him or both -  especially compared to Biden and shudder to think how laughing hyena, Harris would have gone down with the likes of Putin and Xi Jinping. Trump also doesn't like his people having to go to war, which is a refreshing change.

Trump has not assumed office yet however the pathetic anti-Trump snivellers on here are already droning on. After a year or two of his presidency will be the time to assess his performance, not now.

Uuhm, aren't you forgetting the 4 years we can already judge him on? Why will this time be any different?

Not at all forgetting his first presidency. No worse than some of his predecessors, and better than many.

Well, that's not the point, is it? You said we couldn't judge him until 2 years from now 🤣

Yes indeed. Difficult to judge a presidency before it's started. How early on would you want to pass judgement ?

By analyzing his FIRST term, why would anything change? Same guy, same policies, same management style, but 8 years older... Do you expect change 🤣🤣

He has a load more money than you and he gets to fly on AF 1, and have world dignitaries grovel to him.

I could do with being that not bright.

Don't be too hard in yourself. You're doing just fine over there in the shallow end.

Every time I see Donny boy next to China's XI or Russian Putin he seems to be out of their league.

At least he is awake when he is with them---how can you judge the other guy who falls asleep as they are talking to him..

Never you mind about what you think I missed, you just carry on focusing on what you love.

Fair question. I can only answer by saying, wait and see...

Yet Trump was the first president whose net worth decreased while in office.

He was lucky he had the CPC as loyal customer!

Joke apart, the value of real estate significantly decreased during the pandemic, so it's not surprising that his net worth decreased.

Some ramifications of the US-China trade war:

Rare Earth isn't actually rare. It is just really polluting to refine. The US will, if not already, find some other country to pollute to make up the shortfall, IMO.
