Along with the Chinese, these people should be banned from Thailand. They will ruin it!

Most of them never shower for the whole time they are here!

🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 You should throw in many Europeans for lack of personal hygiene

I didn't realise that it was possible to tarnish India's reputation globally. It's a dung heap of a country. It literally stinks.

I'm sure that's why these indian tourists feel at home in Thailand

I recently flew with Air India from Swampy to Delhi and it was the worst flight that I have even been on .

80 % of the passengers were groups of Indian "Uncles" , different groups of 10-20 men and they all seemed to be returning for a week in Pattaya .

They just couldn't sit still , it was constant commotion and noise , moving about and calling the steward relentlessly .

I was in the aisle seat and as soon as we landed, before the plane even stopped , the India guy next to me asked me whether I was just going to just  sit there and not get off the place . I told him  that we couldn't get off the plane until the doors had opened and that would be about another ten minutes , but he was insistent that he wanted to stand in the aisle waiting for the doors to open

The India guys seem to spend their whole time trying to pull fast ones, trying to trick and con other people .

One Indian guy was boarding the flight and his luggage was too heavy for carry on luggage and he had to pay extra , he someone managed to smuggle extra baggage into the boarding area and his mate had to give him 1300 Baht for excess baggage and once barod the two began haggling about giving the money back .

As the trolly passed along the aisle , the Indian guy took/stole  paper cup from the trolley and hid the cup , when the steward served him, he asked for some ice and she gave him a cup of ice , when she turned her back , he emptied half the ice out of his cup into the other cup , then he shouted to the steward and complained about how little ice she had given him , so she gave him some more ice .

She then asked me what drink that I would like and I said a beer and she gave me TWO can of beer .

She then asked the Indian guy sat next to me what he wanted to drink and he said "a beer"

The Stewardess told him that "sorry, beers have finished ".

I sat there and drank both my beers and he sat there with two cups of ice

We're ALL "content creators". When we pour beer into a pint mug, the content of the mug is beer, then it becomes the content of our stomach. In some cases the content comes back up, and the doctor can search those contents, or it then becomes the content of out bladder and then the content of the toilet, and off to the sewers. As to the content of our bowels, well that's pretty similar to these oniine tiktokkers' and youtubers' content.

The Chinese left and instead of replacing them with well behaved civilized people this is what we get. Badly behaved tourists are not discriminatory by country. American tourists in America can be atrocious. What's sad about it is it brings shame and a bad reputation to that country, meanwhile I have met the nicest and politest Indians in and around my building, they are perfect gentlemen/ladies and speak good English and are always up for a chat. One even taught me some things about my ipad that I didn't know. But my high rise is home to a lot who come here to work and go to school, so you don't get the misbehaving tourists. And people here are probably right about them thinking they can behave just like on a bus. If I had my druthers I would hope that the departing airlines from India would give a speech about behavior at the time they gave the speech about crashing and ditching. If I lived in India I would give it a try by approaching the airline execs with that proposal, it's a win/win for all. Happy holidays to everyone. PS, my nephew lived in India and Nepal, taught there for a few years, and he and many others say that, in spite of all the bad things you hear, it is a wonderful place to visit and the people are great. It looks like only the dregs of misbehaving ignorant ones come here as tourists, which reiterates my point about tourism tending to attract touraons (tourist morons>

When you put it like that , I would prefer to watch Tik Tok videos rather than the other option

Are you referring to YouTube's audience or YouTube's content?

Air India has a well deserved, negative reputation. It should not be part of *Alliance .

I've been a frequent visitor to India since the early 1970's. Anyone from India or familiar with India and Indian men would not be surprised or outraged at this.

Total disregard for the effect of their behavior on the people around them

It's a normal behaviour for a huge segment of the male population there .

Me me me.

It's the same boarding a plane.

I always wait until most people are already in the plane. Why should I stand in line or wait in the plane when I can sit outside more comfortable?

But it seems many people want to be the first on board. Strange.

Nothing strange about it, it's those with excess cabin baggage and a pile of duty free that want to grab the storage space first in case they get challenged and ends up  in the hold.

I have seen people in the cabin with bigger bags than I have checked in, I don't know how they get away with it. In July we had our cabin bags weighed and my wife had to take out about a kilo to get under the 7kg limit.

Can anyone explain to me why Thailand has introduced a visa free policy for Indians?

Basically because India is dirty and full of litter and hence overpriced for all the chaos you're going to get.

Thats why Indians with money prefer to travel internationally not domestically to get the hell out of that <deleted>hole country. 😄

Air India crew would have known how to handle this situation much better than others, though. They deal with it every day.

It was the whole experience, including the transit at Delhi.

If I never have to set foot in that horrid country in a thousand years, it would be a day too soon!

Ironically, I've never found Indians I've come across in the UK to ever be anything but polite and courteous, but those I encountered that day were a stain on the nation. When I see questions like "worst airline you've ever flown?", or "somewhere you'd never visit (again)?", my immediate thought is India, without hesitation!

It's a complete nonsensical myth they are bringing in money to Thailand.

There was nearly 3 million visitors from India this year, and they are still by person some of the lowest spenders in Thailand, yet makeup a large part of the visitors. A better way to look at it is spend per tourist.

Counting how much visitors from a certain country bring into the country is not an exact science, and not a perfect full proof equation. Furthermore, they do have some high end tourists who will spend money, movies shot in Thailand, but they also have some awfully budget visitors - to then average this up and claim Indians spend money is a bad way to look at it.

Secondly, you have to look at the impact they have on other visitors and local culture. They are sex pests, and whilst this is tolerated normally ... what they do is bordering on abuse. I have witnessed many of them, in packs hounding a Thai prostitute to give them a discount if she takes the whole group. The vulnerable lady will often agree. It's disgusting.

Many female friends refuse to go to Pattaya anymore as Indian men will often see them as prostitutes. It's barbaric. Their view on women is horrific. Furthermore, they've colonised other seedy nightlife areas in Bangkok, and other nightlife area which in turn has then meant a more higher spending clientele has moved away from entering those areas. Many clubs around Soi 13 in Bangkok, are aghast how they have bough the 'tone down' to that area.

The impact it has on high end tourists who will not want to go to resorts or destination where the makeup is of massive cheap indian tourists (along with Chinese tourists). No other country has a generous visa policy for Indians than what Srettha Thavisin in his stupid panic for more tourists has given the Indians. Why don't Indians let in Thais visa free?

So if they in turn then turn away high spending tourists, their net benefit further negates.

The economy of India per person is three times less than Thailand. Many will overstay and seek to work, all now possible thanks to the ridiculous open door visa policy for long stay.

Many other countries are now putting barriers back up to Indian visitors, eg Cambodia and Malaysia. But not Thailand. They will often say 'oh Indians bring so many millions to the economy', negating the fact the volume and negative impact they bring.

Pollution, litter, enviromental impact, over staying.

The problem will only get worst as more and more will come. You can only assume ex- leaders like Srettha have very little day to day mixing with these types of tourists so they don't care.

This 👍

I took a similar flight from Calcutta to BKK this year. What can't be portrayed in a video is the overwhelming stench of cheap cologne. I had one hand on the barf bag throughout the entire flight 🥺

Why were you wearing it if it was so bad?
