In Khon Kaen, a disturbing incident occurred when 24-year-old Kotchakorn discovered she was being secretly recorded while using a restaurant restroom. Despite the perpetrator's confession, evidence was deleted, hindering immediate police action.

The incident happened early on December 23. Kotchakorn noticed a smartphone from the men's side while in the restroom. Confronting two men, one with a blue phone confessed, "I did it." Police were called, and the restaurant’s staff attempted mediation, but Kotchakorn insisted on pressing charges.

Police seized the phone for investigation, but data recovery remains uncertain. The restaurant distanced itself from the illegal act, blaming the part-time employee. However, Kotchakorn argued the restaurant shared responsibility due to unsafe restroom design.

Meanwhile, the perpetrator’s university has launched its own investigation, with a resolution expected by January's end. Kotchakorn questioned whether proposed penalties were sufficient.

Kotchakorn called for better restroom privacy to prevent similar incidents. The restaurant plans to improve restroom security, but management refused media interviews due to ongoing legal matters. CCTV footage confirmed the intrusion and was handed over to authorities.
