Is Obesity a Very Serious Problem?
I wouldn't worry about fruit. I normally eat a few pieces of fruit a day. I never worry about if it's a high glycemic fruit or not. Mostly I eat bananas, apples, cantaloupe, and pineapple. Sometimes some watermelon or oranges. The main point though is that fruit has its sugar embedded in fiber, and the fiber slows down the absorption of the sugar by the body and helps to prevent the insulin spikes that would convert it to fat. So as long as you're only eating a few reasonably sized pieces of fruit a day, then I wouldn't worry about it at all and I doubt that it's going to make any difference in terms of weight or body fat percentage in general. If you're really worried about it, then with things like bananas don't eat more than one a day. But on some days, I eat two or three. It just depends. -

Putin Expresses Readiness for Talks with Trump to End Ukraine War
This is a stark (and also rather inaccurate) statement. Can you explain on what basis you believe that "Ukraine itself is an artificial creation"? What do you know about Ukraine's history that justifies your statement? What do you know about the Ukrainian language that makes you believe it is "artificial"? What have you seen in Kiev, Lvov, Moscow and St. Petersburg, that supports the idea that Ukraine is an artificial country? What is it that Ukrainians shall know, to accept the idea that they are not Ukrainians after all? And that dying for Ukraine, as they are doing by the thousands since 2014, has no justification. I look forward to hearing what supports and justifies your point of view, if any, of course, and to share it with my Ukrainian friends asking for their opinions. -

The Pelicot Rape
I have absolutely no idea what you are talking about, that post makes no sense whatsoever in the context of this thread I'm giving you the benefit of the doubt that maybe it was written after a few too many drinks at a bar -

So, how long you like to live.
I reckon that 80 years will be more than enough for me, and I hope that I have the balls to jump the gun and avoid an empty and painful finish. My father is 95 and in rapid decline - I do not want to end up like him. I'm in my early seventies and there are increasingly activities that I can no longer do - I used to enjoy playing squash, mountain biking and going to the gym - I used to do one every day. I still enjoy riding my scooter but realise that I'm not as sharp as I used to be. I have occasional sex but, when that becomes too much hassle, then there's not much left - beer, food, weed? -

Is Earth round or flat❓
It could be explained to you, but it can't be understood for you !!... At risk of contracting the famous Mark Twain quote... I'll give a very brief explanation, though I'm sure you can't seriously believe what you write, instead you are playing a 'devils advocate troll'... The constellations appear relatively unchanged over thousands of years despite Earth's motions because of the vast distances between stars and the scale of the universe. Here are the main reasons..... Vast Distances: Stars are so far away that Earth's and the Sun's motions barely affect their apparent positions. Relative Motion: Stars also move, but their shifts are tiny from our perspective over thousands of years. Short Observation Time: Human history is too short to notice significant changes in constellations. Local Motion: Earth's and the Sun's speeds are insignificant compared to the cosmic scale. Slow Changes: Precession and star motion cause small shifts, but constellations only change noticeably over millennia or more. Water doesn’t “stick” to a spinning ball in space due to belief or magic but rather because of gravity, and the gravity on earth exceeds the centrifugal inertia. Somewhat difficult when your beliefs are irrational... we get dragged down the rabbit hole and the Mark Twain quote springs back to minds.... "Never argue with a... " 10 pages on this thread and I've avoided posting because I fail to believe that someone can truly believe that the Earth is not spherical and for some reason some posters such as yourself are getting a trollish kick out of this... -

Can anyone explain to me why there are cannabis shops everywhere?
The prices charged in the tourist weed shops are ludicrous, so they probably cover their costs with a couple of customers a day. I only buy online and am aware that I am paying well over the odds, but it's convenient. -
