In a dramatic and tense operation, police and rescue personnel managed to disarm a 48-year-old woman attempting to harm herself with a razor blade following a domestic dispute. The woman, identified as Ms. Bunlai, was distraught over her husband's alleged infidelity and lack of attention, which led her to injure herself and threaten to take her own life.

The incident occurred at a pavilion near Wat Mai Songkroh Rat (commonly known as Wat Phi Khut) in Bang Pakong, Chachoengsao Province. Responding to the distress call, Pol. Lt. Col. Wiroj Tessathong and his team from Bang Pakong Police Station arrived at the scene alongside local rescue workers.

Ms. Bunlai, holding a razor blade in her right hand, had deep cuts on her left wrist and ankle, bleeding profusely. She was visibly distressed, crying uncontrollably, and threatening to slit her throat. Officials, including police, rescue workers, and reporters, worked together to calm her down.

During negotiations, Ms. Bunlai revealed that she was upset about her husband's neglect and infidelity. She claimed that he had convinced her to return to work but refused to live with her, provided insufficient financial support, and was unfaithful. Frustrated over unresolved issues regarding their shared assets, she decided to confront her husband by intercepting him on his motorbike and ramming his pickup truck to force a discussion.

The husband denied the accusations, claiming Ms. Bunlai often overreacted and harmed herself, which made him reluctant to communicate with her.

After nearly half an hour of persuasion, authorities managed to safely take the razor blade from Ms. Bunlai's hand and provide first aid. She was then transported to Chularat 11 Hospital for further treatment.

Police have stated that both parties will be brought in for further discussion to resolve their issues.
