Does the TM30 online system produce a receipt that the tenant can put in his passport?

Background :

I have a tenant who actually has been in my property 13 months.  His TM30 13 months ago was done by the property agent but he never provided the tenant a receipt.   Tenant has been doing his 90day TM47 based on my property sucessfully.   His visa (retirement) is coming up for renewal and is concerned he does does not have a current TM30 slip to present.  I could do online TM30 for him but a) he is already registered at my property b) I don't know if online makes a receipt anyway c) he actually entered the property 13 months ago and I renewed his rental 1 month ago

Works for me it will say "informed" when they approve it.  It will be in their system if he was approved.  If not, the worst is a fine I believe 1500 b.

Maybe contact the agent they still may have the receipt.

Someone posted previously that you have to search under your surname only.

You search for the data with the date you filed it in BOTH search date boxes,
You use the passport and nationality only
Then it will call up the data

did you read the user manual? It's pretty self explanatory with photos of the screens etc

Found it confusing, tried for months on and off uploaded all the jpegs and address etc, never got any confirmation so gave up. They still accept the 2018 one printed out.

Thanks but I didn't file it, the property agent filed it but has gone out of  business so cannot access his records.

He most likely WILL need a new TM30, and it's far better for you to just file a new TM 30 online for him, then search for the data you saved and export that file which will give you a PDF like this

You have 7 days from the date a TM30 is filed to go back into the system and access it, after that you can't

Last thing you need is for him to go for his extension and be knocked back because he doesn't have a TM30 receipt

example TM30 receipt.jpg

Thank you.  He is registered, just doesn't have the receipt as the registration was done by property agent that has gone out of business..   I can re-register for him hope there are no issues in doing so

IME, no issues filing a new TM30 at any time.

The system allows you export a PDF of the record filed, at least for a week or so afterwards.

OK thank you

DEPENDING on LOCAL IO POLICY, a person CAN DO their own TM-30 as House Master, Possessor or Tenant.

( Immigration Act

Sctions 4 & 38 and revisions - I do at IO.

Have your lease or rental agreement and any monthly bills as proof of residence.

My LOCAL IO is very STRICT on paperwork, I have done 5 TM-30's so far this retirement extension year since I have stayed at hotels on holiday - Check in a hotel with a PP, they do a TM-30

Yes TM30 online can issue a certificate of notification.

You click on the magnifying glass icon on the persons information and can then print out.

Must be done within 7 days of initial notification.

My experience:

You can print the notice that you notified online, but you must get that to the Immigration office for them to make the actual "receipt" of notification.  I found this out by thinking the printout from the online notification was enough... it wasn't!  But I also was not fined.

When you submit a TM30 online, you get some kind of confirmation on screen that the information has been successfully sent. I take a screen shot of that. In addition, you can search by date for TM30's already sent, which should also have the information you have just sent.

That really depends on the local immigration office,so it would be nice if you could tell us which one you're using.

In Bangkok (Chaeng Watthana immigration office), from my experience, having just the online certificate you print yourself is perfectly fine for all immigration matters. Presumably they look it up in their system anyway, so unless there's a mismatch, you just file the printout because they love paper.

Few weeks ago when doing my 90day report in Pattaya immigration, I had the printiout of latest tm30 from the online system among the papers. Officer was browsing my docs and found an old (about a year old, done in person) receipt stapled in the passport, and handed over my online printout after finding it. Go figure.
