Lawyer criticised for opposing equal marriage in Thailand
I remember from when I was a kid how brutal (talking) many kids are with each other. I.e. my parents bought once trainers with 4 stripes for me because they were a lot cheaper than the trainers with 3 stripes. And many of my fellow classmates let me know how stupid that was and looked and if my parents can't count and whatever. Kids are like that, if we like it or not. I am sure if one of my classmates would have explained to us that he has two fathers (who f*%*% each other), we would have made fun of that kid all day. Except the kid wouldn't have experiences as funny. The opposite. Additionally, it is health for all children to have a male father and a female mother. They are different in many ways and the kid learns from both of them, often in different ways. All this is well documented. Can a kid be happy and healthy with just one parent or two same sex parents? Yes. Is it more likely that the kid would grow up mentally healthier with normal parents, father and mother, and optimally sisters and brothers. -

Is this new in 90 days report?
Indeed. Still waiting for any reply to my postal application that was sent to Chaeng Wattana on 21 December following my online application being rejected (first report after re-entering Thailand needs to be in person so the rejection email said). Only 25 January so there's still time. I will go to renew my extension on 7 February. If it comes back approved before then, fine. If it comes back rejected, so be it. If there's still no reply by 7 February I'll just take my EMS receipt for the postal application and see if that saves a fine. No way will I go to CW just for a 90 day though unless I have something else to do there, appointment or not. -

Bangkok fights smog with free public transport for a week
years of pollution cn not be solved in 1 week free public transport. But enforcement of the laws, and a working RTP together with strict measures for less pollution. Yesterday we went from Bangkok to my home and we saw at several places near the road wildfires, at least 30 very heavy black smoke fuming cars, and I told my partner this is only what we see and there will be many more on the roads.. and that for weeks or months. How can you solve the problem if you don't start with strict measures and heavy fines?? The corruption is is a few hundred THB and they go on. Why not announce that these black smoke fuming cars have 2 weeks to solve the problem and after that they will be fined with 5000THB or have to stop their car and can drive on when the problem is solved... Besides that a lot of old cars ar driving on the roads. Invest in replacing these old 40 year old cars and lower the particulate matter.. Same for wildfires.. big fines for it, but the RTP doesn't care if you call them. So nothing is be done and it will get worse year after year
