Rimmer Posted January 15 Posted January 15 I noticed that Harry and Meghan visited the LA fire zone recently, which brought some much-needed attention to the area. It's always good to see public figures showing up in times of need, as their visibility can help highlight important issues and potentially inspire others to get involved. That said, I feel there might have been an opportunity to make a bigger impact. For example, staying a bit longer or directly contributing supplies like water or food to the community could have added a more tangible element to their visit. These small gestures can make a significant difference and might resonate even more with the people affected. Do you think their visit will help bring more attention to the crisis, or could there have been additional ways to support the community? 2 "Smoke me a kipper, I'll be back for breakfast!" Bkk Brian Posted January 15 Posted January 15 Meghan Markle and Harry are no better than ambulance chasers. What a repulsive "photo op" they achieved. They are "touring the damage"? Are they politicians now? They don't live here; they are tourists. Disaster Tourists. 1
