This is a good reminder that all problems in Thailand are best solved before the police arrive - no matter what it takes. If the police arrive, the problem is multiplied by 10, as is the price for fixing it. If the problem goes to court, the problem is multiplied by 10 again.

You seem to have missed a critical point in this "huge pantomime", as you call it. He admitted he had done this to other women many times. That's reason enough to take him out of circulation and lock him up for a while so that other men don't get the idea you can do this in Thailand. A judge will decide unless they solve it through a court-appointed mediator, in which case he will be giving the women a sizable paycheck.

 

It's an insult to the girl, but an even bigger insult to Thai women and even Thailand as a whole.... that you can treat Thai women like this.

 

I call for the death penalty.😁
