Speaker Johnson Reveals Shocking Meeting with President Biden

In the closing chapter of Joe Biden's presidency, discussions surrounding the 82-year-old leader's visible decline have taken center stage. Observers from both sides of the political spectrum, ranging from Speaker of the House Mike Johnson to members of Biden's own team, have expressed concerns about his capabilities during his final months in office.

 

Johnson, who will continue as Speaker of the House, recounted a troubling interaction with Biden in January 2024. According to Johnson, the president made a bewildering admission during a meeting, stating that he "didn't do" an executive order he had, in fact, signed months earlier.

During a one-on-one meeting, Speaker Johnson asked President Biden why he paused LNG exports to Europe, says Biden was completely unaware he had done so. Johnson says Biden was completely unaware of an executive order he signed. The comments from Johnson came during an interview.

 

Johnson said after fighting for 9 weeks with Biden's staff, he was finally able to get a meeting with the president.  When he arrived, Johnson says he was "ambushed" by Kamala Harris, Chuck Schumer and Hakeem Jeffries. Biden, who apparently didn't know what was going on, asked the others to leave so he could meet privately with Johnson.

 

"It occurred to me he was not lying to me. He genuinely did not know what he had signed. I walked outta that meeting with fear and loathing because I thought, 'We are in serious trouble.'"

There's something veddy, veddy, fishy about this story.

Speaker Johnson hiding behind his bible thumping patina of piety, is a proven sniveling liar.

So we have his word about this without witnesses.

His word is worthless.

First of all he lies that this was about being speaker when what he's talking about, LNG  sales, is way more narrow to him as a congressman from Louisiana concerned about local energy revenues.

Then we have him play acting as if he cares about defending Ukraine when it was his action under the orders of the incoming convicted felon insurrectionist Mr. Trump who was responsible for countless deaths of Ukrainians by blocking aid to them for EIGHT MONTHS.

Then he lies about the effect on Europe. Europe wasn't panicking. He lied about that too. The pause was not a threat to Ukraine (which the speaker doesn't care about anyway). See link.

IMO he hadn't signed it. Obviously I can't prove it, but I suspect others have been signing for him on things he knows nothing about.

That might explain a lot of things.

In the light of Speaker Johnson’s claim this conversation took place in January 2024 and the fact that the GOP spent much of that  year attacking Biden over fitness for office, why has Speaker Johnson chosen now to reveal this information?
