Thailand Tax Changes Explained: Insights Direct from the Revenue Department

Featured Replies

I came across this interesting interview this morning which features two officials from the TRD along with Carl Turner from Expat Tax Thailand.

Well worth watching for those who have concerns regarding the new tax rules.

It's been posted and disseminated in at least one other tax thread and I think in summary, it didn't bring much new to the table.

Agreed. If anything for me they lost an opportunity to really nail down (without ambiguity) file/no file, assessable/exempt qualifications.

I felt it was pretty much a waste of time listening to it all.

I agree, but at least they had a Senior Legal Advisor from the Thailand Revenue Department on the panel.

He just needed to ask more direct and specific questions for him to answer.
