I said nothing of vegans, nor did I say India was a vegetarian county. What I said was: "If you want to be vegetarian, India is the place to do it.". You called me a liar. 

 

I only said that because of how great vegetarian is in India, having worked there one week every other month for several year.

How many would eat meat, if they had to kill it, and butcher it themselves ?

 

I think I'd only eat seafood.  I've butcher deer (brother shot) and beef quarters, but I doubt if I could kill them, or even chicken / birds.

 

Of course I'd have no problem eating these boneless & skinless chickens ...

None of them have ever plowed a field to grow those vegan veggies, killing dozens of field mice, voles, moles, shrews, deer mice, and destroying only God knows how many different animal homes. Every time a farmer plows a field they die.

Vegans = it's OK to kill ugly, creepy animals, just not the cute ones.

 

You think you are being creative with this, but it is actually a very old concept.  Followers of the Jain religion from India are vegan, and they don't eat root crops for exactly that reason--they believe farming of root crops is violent because of the plowing.  They only eat vegetables that are grown without plows, etc.  A minority of other vegans also have similar beliefs.

Many animals are prone to over population, and seeing this, have to be kept within the carrying capacity of their habitat
