Look, try and get it into your head, they may try to recruit from a wider base but no-one is going to pass the stringent tests to be an air traffic controller unless they can actually do the job.

Now if they said, 'dwarfs, one armed lesbians, blind blacks, apply now for jobs as air traffic controllers, and it doesn't matter that you can't do the job, will accept you anyhow,' then sure, everyone has the right to kick up a fuss.

Show me some evidence they recruited and employed people not up to the job, and if they did, why didn't Trump dismiss them from 2016-2020? And why were there no accidents?

The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) is actively recruiting workers who suffer “severe intellectual” disabilities, psychiatric problems and other mental and physical conditions under a diversity and inclusion hiring initiative spelled out on the agency’s website.

“Targeted disabilities are those disabilities that the Federal government, as a matter of policy, has identified for special emphasis in recruitment and hiring,” the FAA’s website states. “They include hearing, vision, missing extremities, partial paralysis, complete paralysis, epilepsy, severe intellectual disability, psychiatric disability and dwarfism.”

The initiative is part of the FAA’s “Diversity and Inclusion” hiring plan, which says “diversity is integral to achieving FAA’s mission of ensuring safe and efficient travel across our nation and beyond.” The FAA’s website shows the agency’s guidelines on diversity hiring were last updated on March 23, 2022.

And why haven't there been countless accidents as blind and deaf air traffic controllers miss planes? lol
