In Sevastopol, a mass evacuation of the families of senior officers of the Russian Black Sea Fleet is being reported. They are urgently leaving the Crimean Peninsula, according to the Telegram channel of the partisan movement ATESH. Agents of the resistance movement have revealed that almost all families of senior officers of the Russian Black Sea Fleet have urgently left the occupied Crimea.

"Currently, panic is observed in the units of the Russian Black Sea Fleet – according to our information, in early April, a directive from 'superiors' was issued regarding the implementation of additional security measures at military sites on the peninsula," reports the ATESH movement. It is also noted that covert patrols by reservists from BARS in civilian clothes are being conducted in the bays of Sevastopol, and there is an increase in security as well as attempts to hide military equipment.

"Additionally, all leave for the Russian army has been canceled," the partisans emphasize.

Representatives of the movement suggest that the Russian forces may have started implementing Ukraine's directive regarding the termination of the agreement on the presence of the Russian Black Sea Fleet in Sevastopol.

Also, in mid-March, ATESH reported that Russia is hiding ships in the bays of Sevastopol, fearing strikes from the Ukrainian Defence Forces.

China denies supplying arms to Russia amid Zelenskyy's claims

If they are, I suspect its for testing purposes, and in relatively small quantities. DPRK and iran aren't able to cover up deliveries; shipping and rail records ensure that. Large sclae transfer of Chinese weapons systems, which are now increasinglydifferent to the Soviet era would certainly require the movement of Russian military personnel into China for training. We know that, because that's exactly what Ukraine had to do in the West. Even equipment which is nominally of Soviet design.

So far what Zelensky has said is that China has been providing engineers to Russian factories and possibly gunpowder. That's not quite the same as providing weapins systems. Its more about improving production yields. There is talk about Chinese company making weapons in Russia; that's somewhat curious. Is it Chinese companies making Chinese weapons in Russia, or a Chinese company has taken over a Russian company and is doing busonss

Bild first came out in 2023 with claims about Chinese weapons on the battlefield, but they have been quiet about it since. There is evidence that China is analysing the battle space, and no doubt learning a lot about about. There might be some Chinese materiel invlvement, but nothng that is making any strategic difference.

The fact that evidence hasn't yet been release; its been promised for next week, makes me think its not convincing or is ambiguous (ie. is Ukraine certain that Chinese munitions have come directly from China, rather than Russia obtaining the same munitions via a third party who just happens to buy from China. Iran is a major customer of China, for instance.

Chinese arms exports footprint:

85% of Chinese Arms exports are to APAC, and 60% of that is to Pakistan.

Possibly Myanmar is a source. Myanmar has been supplying Russia with mortar rounds

There is mutual benefit; Myanmar needs new ground attack aircraft in its civil war, and frankly, the RuAF has been pretty absent over Ukraine, so they have spares, maybe even spare pilots.

Ukraine might present evidence of exploded munitions, analysing for parts of Chinese origin. From this, you can estimate, fairly accurately how much is entering Russian stockpiles.

If it is the case (China is now a supplier), its further evidence, whatever happens, Putin's Russia is finished, and Russia is now a vassal of China. And China wants China back.

Russia always welcomed tourists from China Iran and North Korea. Sometimes it happens that armed tourists get lost. And then they are unexpectedly found in the SMO zone.

Why does China behave so bravely? Because China knows that if America starts a war with them, America will lose in Ukraine.

am very surprised that Zelensky knowing the Russians and Putin in particular as he does he believed a word out of the devils mouth about a 30 hour truce during Easter period, not a slightest chance Putin will respect that or anything similar, he was claiming the 30 hour truce just to show Trump that he does has some leftover humanity , which is not the case

America can not start a war with China by China invading Taiwan, not possible.

I don't see any contradictions here. In Putin's understanding, this is not a war or an invasion, but a special military operation (to restore order in the Ukrainian Soviet Socialist Republic).

Ukraine declared independence. Does this mean that it left the USSR? Let's think about it. If France or Italy declare their independence, does this mean that they are leaving NATO? Obviously not. Similarly, Ukraine has never declared its withdrawal from the USSR, and Russia, which is in the UN as the renamed USSR, knows this very well.

But Putin and Lavrov are in no hurry to declare this because, in their opinion, society has not yet been sufficiently educated by the special military operation to discard all sorts of nonsense. They are waiting for public opinion to be ready.

oops, it is not what Russia calls this. Keep up

TikTok has never been available in mainland China, a fact that CEO Shou Chew has mentioned in testimony to U.S. lawmakers. ByteDance instead offers Chinese users Douyin, a similar video-sharing app that follows Beijing’s strict censorship rules. TikTok also ceased operations in Hong Kong after a sweeping Chinese national security law took effect.

So how does "Mechanic Jack's Team" post their videos of car shut n cuts?

https://www.tiktok.com/discover/mechanic-jacks-team?lang=en

Its all Chinese content.

Douyin and TikTok are both owned by ByteDance. Content from Tiktok cannot be shared to Douyin, but content is shared on an industrial scale from Douyin. Hence cat videos.

Essentially, its semantics to differentiate between the two.

VPN ?

or maybe there is an interface to import Douyin content into Tiktok ?

technical solutions abound, without changing the fact that one cannot login to Tiktok and view/share content from China, except using a VPN.

the use of a VPN makes this a moot point, it's not even relevant that these platforms have the same owner.
