Russian army deserters have reportedly shot and killed a commander along with two subordinates from the military police, it has been reported.

The incident is said to have occurred in Ukraine’s Luhansk region, near the village of Nyzhnia Duvanka, though Moscow has not commented on the matter.

The number of deserters within the Russian military appears to be on the rise, as the human toll of the war—now in its third year—continues to mount.

Trump just doesn't like Zelensky.

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy has revealed that 20,000 air defence missiles originally promised to Ukraine to counter Shahed drones were instead redirected to the Middle East.

The missiles, designed specifically to intercept Iranian-made kamikaze drones used by Russia, were part of an agreement reportedly negotiated under the Biden administration.

However, Zelenskyy said the delivery never came through.

France is set to assist Ukraine in producing drones to help Kyiv keep up with the growing pace of Russia's military operations.

According to a report by Franceinfo published on Sunday, automaker Renault has partnered with a French defense SME to manufacture a large number of drones intended for the Ukrainian army.

This move comes as Kyiv rapidly increases its own drone production, aiming to carry out more long-range attacks on Russian territory.

Zelenskyy expressing exasperation with Trump's absurd comparison.

The war in Ukraine is not "two children fighting in a park." It is a clash with a murderer who came armed onto foreign soil. Russian President Vladimir Putin is no longer a child and fully understands what he is doing, President Volodymyr Zelenskyy said in an interview with ABC News.

Go on Trump, take him up on his offer!

Oleksandr Usyk has challenged Donald Trump to spend a week in Ukraine, at his home, to witness first hand the realities of the conflict.

With the conflict now past its third year since Vladimir Putin's full-scale invasion, Usyk believes Trump needs a deeper understanding of the situation.

Speaking to the BBC, Usyk, the current WBC, WBA, and WBO heavyweight champion, painted a stark picture of life in Ukraine.

On June 7th, the Ukrainian Air Force released footage showing the burning wreckage of a Russian Sukhoi Su-35 Flanker-E multirole fighter jet reportedly shot down by Ukraine.

According to The Aviationist, some war-tracking social media channels have suggested the jet was downed by a Ukrainian air defense system while others claim it was an F-16.

Unconfirmed reports cited by The Kyiv Post suggest an F-16 might have shot down the Russian Su-35 using an American-supplied AIM-120 AMRAAM air-to-air missile.
