Pattaya is one big trip hazard! So many changes of levels on the streets. Some of the steps up to the shops are quite high. Cables and pipes across the walk, and remains of old fittings left to trip over.
Japanese have their own areas in Ekkamai in Bangkok and Sriracha on the Eastern Seaboard for example. They don't want to mix with us.
South Koreans treat Thai women appallingly. I play golf regularly at Green Valley, and they treat the caddies worse than dogs.
I entirely agree. The problem is the activities of the DEA, and the 'war' against drugs generally, has become a business with lots of well paid jobs on offer. The chances of decriminalisation, regulation, control and tax are therefore very slim.
