How much are you being deprived of?

Why is that relative to you or this thread?

It is not "relative" (whatever that means) to anything, I'm just curious about how much is at stake as you chose to go public with the subject which makes it relevant.  Not my fault if it embarrasses you.

This is life of Thailand expat in a nutshell.

We will always just be second class citizens regardless of our documents or how well we speak / read Thai.

Indeed, discrimination is rife here, and seems to get worse by the day.

When are our governments waking up, and apply equal rights to Thais who live in our countries

Curious and unhelpful. As is usual?

Since Shopee Pay is a company providing financial services, I'm sure they have to comply with rules set by the BoT, and that banning an account with funds inside, without prior notice, is against some of those rules.

Actually, they did notify about a month ago that they were going to close all accounts held by foreigners. They also provided instructions on how to get any remaining money transferred out.

Did they notify by email? If so they must have missed me, and Shopee support also didn't seem to know about, as I wasted several hours with them, trying all their suggestions to get the account unbanned

10 Min. ago I order something from Shopee without problem:coffee1:

You're lucky, I have been a Shopee member for years and have never been able to even buy anything from them, they are best just forgotten.

Lazada are also a bad lot with their cheating sellers, but at least you can buy from them and always get their deliveries. I only use them as a last resort.

Just use COD ....  no issues at all.

The problem with COD is that eventual refunds go to your wallet, which is your banned Shopee Pay account, and means you will have to jump through hoops withdrawing it

OP

While I understand that this doesn't directly answer your question or reply to your dilemma here is what I was able to do in a few seconds.

I took a screenshot of the text from your post then went to Google Translate and pulled it up from the camera icon and translated it and then took a screenshot of the translated version.  It may not be perfect but it helps a bit.

Maybe this will be able to help you in the future.

As per post#3 in this thread, I was able to get it translated and filled in, but the webform doesn't work.

Each time you submit, you get the message to fill in again, so it doesn't get sent to the company.

Reason for this is that blocked account can't be reactivated, since they are blocked on purpose for every foreigner

I'm not sure if I remember correctly, but I believe it was a notification in the app.

Even if it was only 1 baht, it would be MY money and not theirs, and BTW this thread is to warn OTHERS that Shopee Pay will close all accounts registered by foreigners.

Some people may have a significant sum in there

Sir Farang have been banned from shopee pay for a while now....Consider yourself lucky you have used it this long...

I actually never use it, but was forced to have an account, because COD payments on Shopee get refunded through Shopee Pay.

Therefore, they were very well aware that it wasn't possible anymore, and should have informed me, and offered a different option for the refund.

Well if the refund due was not to much it might be better to just forget the refund....

Trying to get a refund on a COD sounds awful...

Never a problem with a refund on a COD, and it is in my wallet, since it shows in my Shopee profile. The issue is to get it moved to my bank account
