Strange, I recently had problems getting my money back from this wallet and due to language problems, a Thai called me at Lazada and told me it was not possible. Also, when you order something, you don't see the option to pay with the same wallet.

Not at all strange.  I commented about using the Wallet for payment, not about getting money back.

Yes you do.  

I use it to pay for items and the option is there online, just checked again now.  Alongside "Choose payment method" is "See all payment methods" in blue script which takes you to "Choose payment channels", top of that list is "Wallet Lazada".

No you are not that, because the wallet can only be used for payments, if you have registered for the wallet. If not registered, the wallet will not show as a payment option,.

Yes, I am, my comment was regarding using it for payments only.

Never been able to buy anything on Shopee. I put two orders in and both were cancelled after 2 weeks, the sellers could not deliver the items. These orders were COD.

On-line shopping in Thailand is not for me.

Same with Lazada, my wife ordered French and American brands cosmetics. All the items received were samples with the appropriate mention “Not for Sale” on the boxes.

We file a complaint for fraud with copy to Lazada, the Seller and the brands representatives in Thailand to no avail.

Now she buys her cosmetics duty free while in transit.

I emailed them on December 2 for an issue, but never got a reply.

Sorry, but you are right have let myself suffer through Thai people who would solve the problem regarding that ‘wallet’, but now I have been able to see for myself that the credit on my wallet is indeed usable on other orders, in which act!

FYI - I received my ShopeePay balance in my KBank account about 10 days after requesting the return of my funds. 

 

While I'll miss having ShopeePay digital wallet, I have Line Pay and True Money digital wallets for now. They are just convenient for certain shops.
