All the usual old foggies getting their knickers in a twist about complete non -events like trans using women’s bathrooms. Firstly this is as rare as rocking horse $hit, excessively amplified by the right and their quest to make identity politics the main dividing line for us all.
living in Bangkok I see ladyboys using women’s toilets ALL the time (it would be more weird to see them use the men’s) and not one single time have I ever seen a women complain about it  - so exactly what is the problem? Now if a 6ft brikkie walks in wearing nothing but lipstick then sure, it would be weird but again, what exactly is he going to do? Peer over the cubicles? Try and get a glimpse of a woman on the toilet? It’s just all exaggerated nonsense to get the gullible all worked up.
And many of you are falling for it time and time again.

These nurses are old foggies?

British Nurses Lodge Landmark Case Over Hospital Transgender Policy

A group of female nurses has launched a landmark legal case against a UK hospital over its transgender policies after being forced to share a changing room with a man who claims he identifies as a woman. The women say the presence of the male medical staffer is causing fear and panic attacks in what they say should be a women’s only safe space.

Changing room trans row nurse 'felt intimidated'

A Fife nurse who was suspended after complaining about sharing a changing room with a transgender colleague has begun giving evidence at an employment tribunal.

Sandie Peggie claims being made to get changed beside Dr Beth Upton - who is a trans woman - amounted to unlawful harassment under the Equality Act.

I am pretty sure most of us have no problem with ladyboys in ladies clothing using the lady's toilet.

But there are some extreme cases of guys who pretend to be women. And as long as some politicians and activists support those extremes, nobody should be surprised that a majority of people wants to go back to normal.

Isla Bryson, what a lovely lady, would you want to see "her" in the women's toilet?

You were asked are you aware of attacks. You replied implying they are all lies. Is that the same response when asked about victims of rape "I am aware of them lying about it"?

Scumbag reply when there are murders like this:

Whole collection of events you consider to be nothing but lies.

Incredibly annoying voice IMO.

Meaning of words change over time, if we want or not.

I.e. in old novels people are describes as "gay" when the have a good time.

Maybe try to see the world the way it is now and not the way you remember it from 10 years ago or imagine you want it to be.

Rubbish! The meaning of the word hasn't changed at all. It's a Far Right troll.

Even Trump states most people using it, have no idea of it's meaning.

Yes well done, you found the rocking horse $hit I mentioned. As has OneMoreFarang.
There will always be an example to find something by someone to “corroborate “ your view but again, it’s VERY rare.
If someone is truly trans, then where are they to go? Should they be forced into male changing rooms and men’s toilets where they can face more than a few hysterical women having a hissy fit? As usual, it’s a nuanced subject not helped by the VERY few examples where common sense should prevail.
And the “old foggies” I was referring to are you lot.

There are more, its not only nurses that are foggies according to you. Your claim its very rare is false and ignores that real distress it causes to real women and in some cases real danger.

Made up claims for attention, not using a pronoun, stopping a man going into a woman's toilet, or laughing at a man in a dress is not a hate crime

Oddly where I provided a link, you don’t.

Other than Terry Christian, is there a more annoying leftist nutter than Billy Bragg?

Well done JK Rowling for sticking it to these hypocritical, censorious, misogynists.

Their spiel is straight from the philosophy of Idi Amin.

So very true JonnyF, JK Rowling certainly is a light in the darkness of left wing ideology. The world needs more Rowlings to stifle and expose the inherent debauchery of the left. Trump is making a dent but it is up to the good patriot citizens to support him in his effort and fight the lefts destructive doctrine.

I wonder if it occurs to Rowling that her anti Transgender campaigning has negative impacts on people already subjected to abusive treatment by other transphobic bigots?!

I doubt if this person has read one word of what JK Rowling has to say on the subject. It's possible however that he simply doesn't understand.

If I am wrong on either counts, could he provide a specific example of JKR's "anti transgender campaigning".

I do admire Rowling, she certainly is outspoken and even as a Democrat I tend to agree with a lot of what she has to say. I think cancel culture is disgusting, and I think political correctness is truly horrific. So are the titles we are forced to use. Just say what you think and say what you feel, and if people get offended, so what?

I also totally understand what Cleese is saying. As a comedian how can you be told that you have to limit your brand of comedy, because some might be offended. Comedy is meant to offend! It's completely ridiculous, it's completely demeaning, and can imagine it is quite demoralizing. Yikes. Just say no to the Karens of this world.

It's not really about Karen's is it? There a huge difference with regard to people going to a private venue to listen to someone and that person having a platform to spread their poison all around the world.

Example: Why should we have any moderation here? Should we just have a free for all where everyone writes whatever they like, on-topic or not?

Wouldn't work, would it?  There would be fights all over the place. The dominant characters would...dominate.

Most people prefer a mix of nature and civilisation. Nature in the raw is a little too rough for the people who haven't had much experience of it. So best to try to limit offence, whilst still getting your point across.

"The old lie of trans getting abusive treatment"

Are you not aware of violence against trans people?

Surely if you go to Pattaya you need to be careful of violence by trans women. You don't want to mess with them lot.

Good singer, cracking songs. I like singers who sing with their natural, unabashed voice. As for Wizard books written by a one hit wonder on the Dole; never read them, never will. Asked my teenage nephew what he thought of Harry Potter; zero interest in them and the films, as do all his mates, demonstrating she is no Charles Dickens (irony).n I don't care at all about the opinions of kids book writers, pop singers and comedians. Why should you? Maybe they should run for office.

Good summary of the word’s original use by progressive leftists. However, it’s been my experience that leftists now hate the word, as it’s now used very successfully as a term to ridicule leftists who’ve taken some originally good progressive ideas to ludicrous extremes, and those on the extremes, whether on the left or the right, hate being ridiculed. It’s a far better term than the awkward ‘politically correct’.
