Will US airlines return to Thailand with direct flights, or at all?
It would be good if AC turned the seasonal flignts into year-round. AC has the rights to the route it inherited from the (defunct) Canadian Airlines (CP) - THAI Airways joint route. I guess the two countries' government air authorities would need to agree to that. Then again, as you say, particularly for American travelers to/from BKK, there are so many other pretty good connecting flights via Japan, Korea, Taiwan, it probably wouldn't make a lot of business sense. THAI used to fly non-stop to LA for many years - I even took that flight myself once. They tried BKK-New York briefly too. But, yeah, it's tough. -

You can deflect as much as you want with your lame I don't like Trump argument. it's completely irrelevant to your initial claim that Fauci is responsible for the Covid 19 pandemic. That was a lie! -

British man’s Thailand trip goes from heaven to prison hell (video)
The "more" to this story is that the same guy apparently (if the photos are actually from him - and if they're not then something is really off) told an almost completely different story to the Daily Mail just two weeks ago. In the previous version of the story featuring photos of the same person, it was a case of overstay and having been shopped to the police by his girlfriend over a business dispute. So as many others have pointed out, this story just doesn't hold water, in light of the previously-published, totally different version. -

Back in the driver’s seat: Rewat plans to steer Phuket forward
It would take a decade plus to *fix* phukets traffic issues. In that time how much worse will it become. Thailand is in for a world.of trouble in the coming 15 years. The dream slowly becoming a constant nightmare. Thailand will be left behind to continue their backwards habits. I love the smell of burning in the morning.
