Nonthaburi: 42-Year-Old Security Guard Dies After Motorcycle Crash

A crash occurred on the morning of 5 August, when a 42-year-old security guard lost control of his motorcycle, hit the concrete barries and was fatally injured after being dragged along the road surface by his motorcycle, for more than 100 metres.

 

At 10:00, officers from Bangkrasai Police Station were alerted to the incident on the Rajapruek Elevated Bridge (downhill section) in Bangrak Noi Subdistrict, Mueang Nonthaburi District. They immediately rushed to the scene, accompanied by volunteers from the Poh Tek Tung Foundation.

 

Upon arrival at the scene, authorities found the lifeless body of Mr. Kong Ya-ek, a 42-year-old security guard, lying beside the bridge's concrete barrier, in a pool of blood, with a severe head injury, causing significant skull trauma. Approximately 50 metres further along from the body, was his blue Honda PCX 150 motorcycle.

 

According to Police Sergeant Major Thanawat Kanjai, the crash was caused by high speed, with the rider appearing to have lost control before veering off the curve. There were no other vehicles present at the scene of the crash.

 

Police are investigating the circumstances surrounding the crash and working with forensic experts to confirm whether there were any other vehicles involved. The police also checked the victim's mobile phone and contacted family members listed in the emergency contacts. 

 

The investigation continues as authorities examine the evidence to determine the cause of the fatal crash.
