Fiskebolle Posted 3 hours ago Posted 3 hours ago Hi Folks, As the header suggests... Anyone that can share their experience for renewal of Pink ID card and what documents are required? Does a change in visa status potentially effect the renewal of a Pink ID? Cheers, FB
WorriedNoodle Posted 3 hours ago Posted 3 hours ago Does your Pink ID have an expiry date? Mine does not. 2

After one reaches a certain age, there is no need to renew one's Thai ID card, and she claims the same practice applies to the pink-ID. 1

Still can't find a clear /definite answer in regards of docs required to renew...
KhunLA Posted 2 hours ago Posted 2 hours ago Obviously it's location dependent, from reading other threads. I only need yellow book Ior Cert. of Residence, if not having), and my Passport to get ID, along with address changes to it. I got mine at 60+ yrs old, so would expect same paperwork to renew. Why not just pop into local office and ask ? Would have been answered by now, especially since 'location dependent'. Really can't answer what your amphur office might require. 1
Fiskebolle Posted 2 hours ago Author Posted 2 hours ago Thanks for all your reactions so far. All much appreciated. Cheers!

tomazbodner Posted 1 hour ago Posted 1 hour ago I would not know what someone without PR requires, in my case, the blue house registration was only document they actually looked at, although I've also provided certificate of residence (blue or white PR booklet), red alien registration from police and passport. None was touched. They obviously wanted old pink ID which they cut after issuing new one. I got some forms to sign, and photo taken. 20 minutes and 60 baht later I had new pink card in my hand. 1
