VISA AGENTS - is it a dodgy industry?
Only used an agent once. Went there based on a recommendation from a reply on this forum. Got ripped off for 7,000 Baht. Didn't see it coming before I was preyed upon as the scheme was elaborate. Live and learn. -

FBI Uncovers Thousands of Hidden JFK Assassination Records Following Trump's Executive Order
I watched Ruby shoot Oswald on live TV. We were given the day off from school. I think Ruby's Colt sold for $300,000. -

In Case You Missed it, the Tattoo Fad is Over
the fad is over indeed. No longer a fad, tattoos are a common form of self-expression that are no longer stigmatized when worn in moderation. -

Biden’s Popularity Hits a Low as Trump Sees Favorability Surge, Poll Finds
Obviously, Trump was more popular than Biden—he won the election, duh! Who would have thought Murdoch, aka 'Das Reichsleiter' of the MAGA propaganda wing, would be on his knees, giving Trump more moral oral support? The poll came just days after the inauguration when the "sheep" were all in—now, the honeymoon period is over, and reality will set in with buyer's remorse. “When I win, I will immediately bring prices down, starting on day one,” Trump said. After the election, Trump told NBC News’ Kristen Welker, “I won on groceries. We’re going to bring those prices way down.” Now, inflation is rising, making it unlikely the Federal Reserve will cut interest rates soon. Grocery, gasoline, and rent prices continue to climb, worsening financial strain for families and businesses. In January, meat prices rose by 0.6%, and egg prices surged by 15.2%. Meanwhile, Trump seems more focused on deals with Musk and plans for Greenland and Gaza than tackling food price hikes. https://www.msn.com/en-au/news/other/trumpflation-trump-slammed-for-blaming-biden-after-he-breaks-day-one-promise-to-bring-prices-down/ar-AA1yUNCs https://x.com/DVNJr/status/1850528968144814369 -

Thai Baht Set to Weaken as US Tariff Tensions Escalate
Keep in mind that this is the same seesaw that has always existed. If the baht weakens then the strong foreign currency's buying power will bring more dollars and other currency into Thailand, people will be more motivated to come here and spend. I will certainly be more inclined to bring more money in from the US. The exchange rate has been unusually low in favor of the baht for some time, between 33 and 34 baht to the dollar. It has not long ago been as high as 38 baht to the dollar. I will admit to not knowing enough about the actual Thai economy to understand the real impact of this on Thailand as a whole. I suspect, just as in my case, it doesn't affect the general population in any real sense. Cheers everyone, enjoy your day.
