Two brothers have denied charges of assaulting police officers in a widely publicized incident at Manchester Airport. The altercation, which occurred at the airport's Terminal Two on July 23, was captured on video and rapidly circulated online.

Mohammed Fahir Amaaz, 20, of Rochdale, Greater Manchester, stands accused of assaulting PC Zachary Marsden and PC Lydia Ward, allegedly causing them actual bodily harm. In addition, he has been charged with assaulting PC Ellie Cook at the car park pay station within the terminal.

Authorities also claim he assaulted a member of the public, Abdulkareem Ismaeil, at a nearby Starbucks café prior to the airport incident.

His brother, Muhammad Amaad, 25, also from Rochdale, has been accused of assaulting PC Marsden, likewise resulting in actual bodily harm.

Both men appeared before Liverpool Crown Court on Thursday, where they entered not guilty pleas to all charges. The court has scheduled their trial to begin on June 30, with proceedings expected to last three weeks.

In the meantime, the brothers remain on unconditional bail as they await the upcoming trial.

It is beyond belief they are pleading 'not guilty' it is on video from several different cameras, in the airport.🙄

They attacked two male officers and one female and broke her nose.

They have a right to plead not guilty.

It’s now for the court and the jury yo decide.

Oh and look, charges were not dropped.

Just a couple of decent, self aware blokes living their lives as best they can   🙄

Actually it is better that they plea not guilty. The plea bargain will be less time in prison than those 2 deserve. A nice lengthy trial with a guilty conviction and then the harshest sentence available given out for each of them.

I’m in favor of letting justice run its course.

These Muslim thugs should  receive prison time. They broke a policewomans nose in the attack.

The police fearing racial riots have delayed prosecution. The threat of a private prosecution by Nigel Farage promted the overdue charges being brought at this time.

I fear the leniency shown to muslim offenders in the UK will prevail once again.

“The police fearing racial riots have delayed prosecution.”

Do have any links to substantiate that claim?

Don't be surprised.

Sam Kerr plead not guilty to racial harassment (despite it being caught on camera) and still got away with it.😄

These guys are Muslim. Expect a similar result.

Worst case scenario, suspended sentence. Jails are reserved for social media posters.

In 2 tier Britain anything is possible, as long as you're not indigenous.

Now that predictions of charges being quietly dropped have turned out to be nonsense it’s only natural to move on to the next prediction of a cause for sullen grievance?!

Can you link to those predictions that you’ve claimed were made? The charges being dropped quietly

Reform did a wonderful job of pressuring the authorities into bringing charges.

I realize you must be saddened that they achieved that.

I don’t for a moment believe they did.

But you will be the first to cry if they get two years inside, which would be justice

What you believe is utterly irrelevant.

You believed Harris would beat Trump. 😄

I wonder if the matching suits and ties were bought especially for the trial - and if so who suggested they do that......
